<3 <3 <3 JK Rowling in a sane world getting to talk Harry Potter on its merits and deliberating Hogwarts with her much beloved HP actor at the time, it's so beautiful and just to get to watch her speak like this
Still after all these years, Hogwarts is my safe place. Somewhere I can escape to, and these characters are my friends during dark times. (That being said, Hogwarts wasn’t the safest place in the world during Harry’s time there 😂)
@@Maksie0 That's what your mom thought when she listened to your dad talk. But if she wasn't so horny that she didn't care then we wouldn't have your wonderful commentary over here on RU-vid!
And to think he's turned his back on her, for supporting women and saying what everyone knows but just doesn't want to be cancelled or seen as a bigot, that trans women are not women.
the story of how they found harry is extremely creepy he thinks its fate they were at the play in front of him but the reality is they probably gave his parents the tickets just to scope him out. he was probably the boy they wanted but it seems like they tricked him into doing it.
I read somewhere that “Harry Potter gave a place to people that otherwise would have nowhere to go” and it never left my mind, I understood that on a deep level. What a gifted mind she has!
no series will even come close to this harry potter series like harry potter movies was truly a part of my childhood I always rewatch the series when I miss old times, especially the first 3 films
@@rolling5520 Is it a "betrayal" if Radcliffe has different social views from the Philosopher's Stone's casting director too? Come the fuck on, you don't even believe this shit. You're just looking to shit on trans people, because you're a reactionary little freak.
LOL Best comment... JK Rowling is legendary. It is sad how it all spiral down to a negative light with the golden trio turning their back on her for the sake of not being cancelled.
13:01 - I laugh every time I see this part. The look Daniel gives after he says, "Oh cool", is that of a boy who just got scolded for something or told to shut up while they speak.
What breaks my heart, is that Daniel Radcliffe couldn't be seen talking to Rowling today, otherwise the alphabet community would lose their friggin' minds.
@@Audrey_1110 I’m well aware of his opinions, yes, so calm yourself. My point is, that the alphabet community generally has a very childish behaviour when it comes to tolerance and acceptance of others with other opinions, and by the look of Daniel Radcliffe he seems like the kinda guy who wouldn’t let him and Rowling difference of opinion on the matter totally ruin the two’s relationship. I think they would still be in great support of one another. And this is the point: Even if Rowling and Radcliffe get along even with their disagreements on the trans subject, the alphabet community would lose their shit if the 2 of them were to be seen talking together or spend time. Because having had experience with the alphabet community: If you interact with a person the alphabet community labels as a literal antichrist - in this case Rowling for that matter - you will immediately be labeled as someone who is backing Rowling up on everything. Because that’s how it is with the alphabet community: If you go against them in the slightest way, they will come after you. I could then use the same logic you just gave me: Stop making comments about Rowling you don’t know anything about
@@Audrey_1110 Simply being a supporter of an organisation doesn’t mean he ain’t willing to listen to Rowlings side as well. You must have lived under a rock for the last 10 years, if you haven’t seen the numerous examples of that community going bananas if a public person does something they don’t like. You need to see the bigger picture: What do you think would happen to his acting career, if he was known for still having contact and a well going relationship with Rowling, regardless of being a supporter of the community? That entire very loud community worldwide would IMMEDIATELY label him as transphobic as well, because he didn’t cut contact with Rowling. Maybe he is in contact with her still - you don’t know that, I don’t know that - but obviously it’s not something he wants to public with out of fear how the alphabet community would react. And since everyone wants to polish their image these days with being “inclusive and diverse”, nobody wants to hire an actor who has something well going with an apparent transphobe. Why else do you think the entire Hollywood and everything around it is dead silent when it comes to the question about whether or not Rowling is right? My point is, I hope he still has a good relationship with her, but we the citizens will likely never know if they have out of this overdramatised controversy, because the alphabet community would target him immediately if he actively said he has. Some members of the community have sent death threats to Rowling, targeted her family, trying to harass who they thought was her daughter which it ultimately wasn’t - womp womp - why would that change if it was Daniel Radcliffe? Daniel seems smart enough to know that wouldn’t be fair to Rowling. But he’s also very well aware that he has the community on the other side having a great wish he leaves Rowling alone.
@@kennydouglas9459 Its kinda worse cus as someone who played Hogwarts legacy i sore tones of childishness from the alphabet people around the time that game came out and what i sore they was saying to people and the death threats people was getting just for simplely playing the game was insane. Honeslty the hole ordeal not to mention the website designed to find and target people for harassment and the fact they all took the time to look up the ending of the game just so they could attempt to spoil it for people out of spitefullness all of that has honestly given me a resentment towards them. jk might have said some stuff on twitter than certen people didnt agree with but at least she didn't harras and make death threats about people who honestly had nothing to do with the hole situation.
@@GrrmPleaseWrite A famous person should have watched his/her mouth more, she did write some interesting books, but that does not give her any right to say some thing she doesn't know at all. doing so only proofs her is an idiot !
J.K. Rowling's impact on popular culture is undeniable. Her Harry Potter series, a global phenomenon, has captivated readers of all ages with its magical world, relatable characters, and timeless themes. Rowling's ability to blend fantasy and reality, creating a universe that feels both familiar and extraordinary, has solidified her status as one of the most influential authors of our time. However, Rowling's public persona has become increasingly controversial. In recent years, she has expressed opinions on transgender issues that have been widely criticized for being transphobic. While her contributions to literature are unquestionable, her views on these matters have led to significant backlash and debate. It's important to recognize that Rowling's literary achievements and her personal beliefs are two separate entities. While we can admire her talent and the joy she has brought to countless readers, we can also acknowledge and critique her views on transgender issues. As with any public figure, it's essential to engage with her work critically and to hold her accountable for her words and actions. Ultimately, J.K. Rowling remains a complex figure. Her legacy will undoubtedly be shaped by both her literary contributions and her controversial public statements.
God dammit that ending with the Harry Potter song was bittersweet and gave me goosebumps. I first memory of these movies is finding out the Prisoner of Azkaban was coming out, and then at the end of my childhood - right as I hit teens - the last movie came out. It's just been such a real part of the first chapter of my life. I'm sure millions of others can relate.
Didn't most of these people turn their backs on Rowling once people went along with labeling her a "transphobe" without considering what she actually said? It makes me sick!
She is a transphobic asshole, who goes out of her way on twitter to post negative comments surrounding trans people. She’s had to delete over 200 posts because she faced massive trouble along with Elon musk, another transphobe. So these people are absolutely right to turn their backs on her. She is disgusting.
To this day i still cant find a post from her that is ment to be transphobic the only mention of her doing anywrong comes from the alphabet people who are only going off what news signs have said she might have been transphobic but none of them can quote a single line she has said and explain how they specifically find it transphobic. cus here's the thing if you actuly stop being a sheep and do your own research you will actuly find that the outrage people feel towards her is actually kind of stupid cus they haven't actually got a leg to stand on. I mean for crist sake one of the points people had against her was she followed certen people who also followed people that was transphobic. like how stupid of a complaint is that.
@@shawbag11 She's expressed endorsement and agreement of statements that describe trans women as "men in dresses", donated tens of thousands of pounds to a transphobic organization, publicly denied the historical fact that trans people and transgender research were targeted in the holocaust, has misgendered several trans women, and recently participated in the bizarre reactionary outrage against Algerian boxer Imane Khelif, a cisgender woman falsely accused of being trans, after which she had to delete several tweets to avoid legal trouble.
They should not break a friendship with a lovely talented woman who made their careers over a political difference of opinion. It is a sad , separated world.
@@Audrey_1110 "I’m not saying Rowling bashed the LGBTQ community" - you. "the fact that she has a weird obsession with transgender people" - also you. Weird.
@Audrey_1110 seems to me like you're trying to appear neutral but let the veil slip with the weird obsession comment, but that's just my observation :)
I’m so mad at myself for not getting into Harry Potter when I was younger, I finally watched the films a year ago. (2023). I envy the people that grew up with it, but I know for sure, these movies are healing my inner child. <3
