Thanks for the compliment, if you end up picking up the Journey SE you won’t regret it. Stable and easy to fly, camera works good, GPS isn’t the best as shown in the video but I still believe it’s worth buying, and @ 50$ it’s definitely a deal. Thanks for watching and if you haven’t already please like and subscribe.🚁🚁🚁
You missed a kinda important part. The back of the box showing all the inputs and outputs. I paused and tried to read them. I also sent Powermax an email to request it. They do not seem to post the information anywhere.
@@Unknown90010 Hello and thanks for watching, I purchased the Alpine 175Bt head unit from a local electronics store. It’s one of my favorite stores, lots of cool high end audio. The store is called ABT Electronics, it’s in Glenview Illinois if you want to Google it. Again thanks for watching and if you haven’t already please like and subscribe.🔊🔊🔊
Bro, what mode are you using on the power supply when it’s connected to the battery and the amp? Are you using constant voltage or the charging mode? I’m planning on using the 100A power supply with a battery to avoid electrical noise/issues but I’m wanna make sure I do it right. I also have a 100A LiFePo4 battery that I’m thinking of using
@@robx8972 When I play music or I know I’m going to have the bench on for a long period of time I always run it on charge mode, I don’t want to have any problems with over charging a battery. When I test an amp for power output or need constant power for a short period of time I run it on constant power. I haven’t had any issues running the bench in this manner. Also running a battery with the power supply is a great idea, I used to run my 12v system without a battery and long story short Im glad I added a battery, your amps will thank you. Whatever you decide to do use your best judgement and be careful, I am in no way telling you what to do and whatever you do is at your own risk. First entry level helicopter this video made things so easy. Thanks for the endepth dive into this product. Literally just picked it up an hour ago from Amazon. Let the fun begin. Thanks again
I’m glad you enjoyed the content, you will definitely have a blast with your new r/c heli, still one of my favorites to fly. Thanks for watching and if you haven’t already please like and subscribe.🚁🚁🚁
Lol i just bought one on ebay last night. It was for the same reasons as you. I love the moving gauges. I also had one back in the late 90s early 2000s. I had that thing so loaded down with speakers and subs. 2- 6x9, an internally bridged dual pioneer 12s and a single pioneer 15". I ran it that way for a long time tell the output chips burned out (what i remember the electronic repair shop said) but by then i had upgraded to kenwood amps (mono sigma servo amp) what an upgrade!!!!
Those VU meters got us both, 😂. I still think it’s a decent amp and as I mentioned in the video, the amp produces a good bass sound. Thanks for watching and if you haven’t already please like and subscribe.🔊🔊🔊
The coolant burp kit comes with a plug that has a long handle so you can reach the hole inside the funnel without burning your fingers. So you plug the funnel and pull the funnel and adapter off and install the radiator cap. You always spill a little coolant when removing the plugged funnel but it isn’t much. Thanks for watching and please like and subscribe. 🏎️🏎️🏎️
Guys, what I did, I grabbed 1-1/2” hole saw, looked where upper bolt is and made a hole in the plastic wheel well. Both sides took me less than hour, up and down the jack. So many will disagree, but taking that plastic off for me means mud flaps, flares… anyway, win for me, idea for you.
It sounds like you may need to do a re-calibration. I demonstrate how to do a re-calibration in video. You can also look up how to re-calibrate in your owners manual if that makes it easier for you. Also make sure the tail rotor is spinning, sometimes a piece of hair will find itself in between the tail rotor and won’t let it spin and that will also cause a similar issue. I hope I helped, thanks for watching and please like and subscribe.🚁🚁🚁
The power supply has a positive and negative terminal, that’s where I use to make my connection’s but a battery was also added to the test bench and I now make my connection points at the battery vs the power supply. I made a video on the battery I chose, the video can be found on the channel in the video library. Thanks for watching and if you haven’t already please like and subscribe.🔊🔊🔊
Hey man I appreciate it the one I got was a knockoff version of power max and I'm returning it tomorrow so I can get the right one so you just power and ground straight from the converter to the battery terminal with I have extensions to add more wire to it. Is it a good idea to add a capacitor as well to help
@@mineprixelz9697 You could add a cap I actually ran a cap before I ran a battery on my test bench, I used it like a noise filter in way, worked ok but I definitely saw a dramatic difference with a battery. I recommend running the power supply and a battery first, if you still need more juice then experiment and try adding a cap, it might just do the trick.
Yep I have a battery putting little under 12 v it's like 11.8 but when I put my prongs on this knockoff version I'm not getting any voltage reading coming from it
Hello, how are you friend, very good video first of all. I also have a powermax connected similar to how you have it and my question is why the low esl is decreasing every time maybe I don't have it right on the stage flexed autput knob, what can you recommend?
@@guillermoaguila3735 I’m not sure what you mean by subwoofer levels are lowered, does that mean it’s not as loud after a while? If so you may be getting use to the amount of sound, this happens all the time, as to why some will jokingly say car audio is an addiction, you always want more.😂
When I just turn on the audio, the subwoofer levels sound very good after about 20 minutes, the bass is gradually heard less and the buffers sound bad, maybe it's because I'm running it at 14 volts.
@93dajjdg when the color of the animation cuts to a lighter blue and back shortly after. All animations do it and even the clock main screen cuts to that lighter blue I see yours.doing it also...me and my buddy's decks do this and they're not suppose to
@93dajjdg @6:28 you're does it on the animation you see what I'm saying I don't think they're suppose to do this I we want to find out how to fix this
@@micc4044 I had no idea that was a problem, I thought it was part of the animation. How do you know that’s an issue and not just doing what it’s supposed to do after some time idling with no input or output?
PowerMax does make 220v power supply you can purchase, they also have multiple amp versions so make sure you choose the best model for your needs. I hope I answered your question, thanks for watching and please like and subscribe.🔊🔊🔊
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Before I made the video my thoughts were to demonstrate the BassProHub in a manner that anyone could get an idea what it may sound like with the type of music they listen to, so I picked what I thought was the most common genres of music. I also wanted to demonstrate the amount of bass that the BassProHub produces, in and outside a vehicle. All in all I am happy with the outcome of the video. Thanks for watching and for the kind words, if you haven’t already please like and subscribe.🔊🔊🔊
Thank you sir and yes, great RC helicopter, very easy to fly and stable. A big thanks for subscribing and supporting the channel, more R/C content coming soon.🚁🚁🚁🛩️🛩️🛩️
I’ve never tested my power supply in that manner, I’m always trying to play it safe. Whenever I have the power supply on fixed mode it’s always for a short period, again playing it safe. Be careful, thanks for watching and please like and subscribe.🔊🔊🔊
That's the beauty of DC. Your battery will stop charging when it's complete. However, lead acid battery life will be shorted doing this, as they do not like max amps past 80% charge. If you want to use this as a full-time battery charger, you will not want to use fixed voltage, as there is no float charge mode either. With extended time at max, volts are unsuitable for batteries; their float charges are always less than the bulk charge. .
That’s a hard question to answer, the best answer I can give you would be to try to purchase something that does its rated power, I would say minimum 500 watts rms for the HX2. Try to purchase a mono amp at the top of your budget, I do believe in life you get what you pay for. Also whatever you decide to get make sure the amp is tuned so no clipped signal shortens the life of your classic subs. I hope I helped, thanks for watching and if you haven’t already please like and subscribe.🔊🔊🔊
I just found one of these on eBay for $40 in the box. Even had the original receipt for $80 in 1990. I had one back in 1992. Push 2 kicker 10s competition. It was cool finding it on eBay.
Wow nice find, and having the original receipt of its original purchase only adds to the great find. I don’t ever see any for sale with the original box and or the owners manual so again great find. Thanks for watching and if you haven’t already please like and subscribe.🔊🔊🔊
Just bought this exact same drone new in box at an auction for 6 bucks. Had no idea if it was a decent drone or not, but for the cost of less than 2 gallons of gasoline i figured i wasn't out very much even if the thing sucked. Glad to find out that it's a good little drone overall. Great Vid!
Hello and thanks for watching, I’m sure if the wind conditions weren’t so heavy and my flying experience wasn’t at zero the flight would’ve looked a bit smoother, but again this is no hobby grade r/c, but for 25$ it’s something to have fun with. Thanks for watching and if you haven’t already please like and subscribe.🛫🛫🛩️🛩️✈️✈️
I agree, it would’ve been nice to have more lighting for night flying. Thanks for watching and if you haven’t already please like and subscribe.✈️✈️🛩️🛩️🛫🛫
OMG this helped me so much at first i thought i would need WD-40 but i know that wouldnt help so i left it alone for about 2 weeks and i came across this video and it helped me so much THANK YOU :)
Good. Vid. Have to replace all the shocks and ball joints on my 2013. Went quality aftermarket for parts since the dodge parts all gave up at under 90 thousand miles. 98% of the miles on my truck are highway. No off-road. OEM is grossly overpriced Ed junk.
Thanks for watching, sounds like you have some work ahead of you. I enjoy my 4th gen ram and plan on keeping her as long as possible, so upkeep is the name of the game. I have to disagree with you though, 90k miles to me is a good amount of life for any suspension piece but you are correct oem isn’t cheap. Again thanks for watching and I do plan on making more videos on the ram so don’t miss out, subscribe.🔧🔧🔧
That PB1140 (if I recall Pyramid also made a smaller, single fan version of this series of amps) it's super rare and probably the finest amp Pyramid made outside of the ones PPI produced for them. Amp looks to be in excellent condition...you have a real gem.
Yes I do believe I’ve recently seen the single fan version you mentioned. Thanks on the PPI history, I had no idea they produced amps for Pyramid, I will definitely look into that, but yes I do believe this is a rare piece and I’m happy to own it. Thanks for watching and if you haven’t already please like and subscribe.🔊🔊🔊
The subs have had a tuff life to say the least. I agree, 150 watts RMS isn’t much especially when you compare it to a modern day subwoofer but that was about average for an entry level subwoofer back in the day. Thanks for watching and if you haven’t already please like and subscribe.🔊🔊🔊
I love bandpass boxes back in the day the only thing I would say is get a better flared port I still think they're awesome even with the old school Subs
I want to start off by saying thanks for watching. I too share the passion for the Bandpass, I have a total of five Bandpass boxes in the collection at the moment and have made videos for each one of them. I love all old school car audio but I will admit the new stuff is growing on me. Thanks for the advice on the ports, I might eventually look into that but at the moment I’m loving its originality. Again thanks for watching and if you haven’t already please like and subscribe.🔊🔊🔊
Im on the fence of getting this 100 amp or the taramp 120amp power supply. The taramp i can power a deck, amp , crossover, and small amp for mid/tweet. Im just affraid this isnt gonna be enough power. I plan on running a skar 1200.1 amp.
I believe either option is a good decision, I have never had an issue with not having enough power for an amplifier. But I will say I have learned that running a power supply directly into an amplifier can cause an issue, some amplifiers don’t like to be plugged directly into a power supply. I recommend using a battery or a high power capacitor in-line of any 12v power supply. If you watch more of my videos you notice I eventually ended up running a small battery to make all amplifiers run as they should. I hope I helped with your decision, whatever you do is your decision and at your own risk. Thanks for watching and please like and subscribe.🔊🔊🔊
