Even a broken clock is right twice a day, 14 times a week. I believe that merchandising the gospel is anyone who puts a price for something that he claims God gave him freely. Example: God gave you a vision and the vision is to start a RU-vid channel, write a book, start a church, a soap or oil., gift of singing, music or prophecy.. And you put a price or you make money from it, its merchandising the gospel. And the gospel is more than enough to supply. What is different is the advert, if you falsely claim that your vision, RU-vid channel, soap, books etc has the power to raise the dead when it does not, its false advertising. If the oil i prayed upon and its a big IF, it has the power to raise the dead for anyone, (believer, unbeliever, faithless, sinners everyone and anyone) that uses it, i am guilty of merchandising the gospel if i charge money for it, but i am free if i ask you to go and bring what you have or i give you freely from what i have. No healing in the bible, no provision in the bible came at a price, but sacrifice has repeatedly moved people, and when people make sacrifices to God, it was on their own conviction, God never asked for sacrifice, the one time he did it was to "test" the man's faith, and we know God is all knowing, so it was for us to know that the man held nothing back from God. So I believe the issue most of the time is the false advertising that comes with the merchandising. Even u, one day this out community will have millions of subscribers, and RU-vid will pay you, please don't accept the money and if you do, please use all the money for charity, dont pay school fees or solve personal problems with it, because its merchandising the gospel. In US and UK, charity organisation founders are punished for using the charity funds for personal care. Churches are NGOs so they are all charity. People who go for evengelism in church are volunteers, prayer warriors are volunteers, but when the members come in and heavy tithe and offering floods, the money becomes the GOs personal property. Even your 5,000 to 10million is wrong because its false advertising. But if everytime you give 5k and you get 10mil, then you will continue to give 5k or even more.
What you are doing is very shameful. You said he mimicked Duncan Williams and you are showing a video of Ibiyomie - nnaa take it easy. You say they don't mention his name yet he replies to them. and when he replies and doesn't mention any body's name, you still have problem with that. Nnaa, were ya nwayo. Look for a better job than contributing to bring the true gospel down by intending to disparage a man whom God has raised to bring his children back on the straight path of the truth of the gospel. na wa for you. Just go through what people are commenting about Dr. Damina in your comments to know that you and all those your Papas cannot bring down whom God has raised.

Apostle Paul did say he has learnt how to "abase and abound". If ministry is about luxurious living AT ALL TIMES then our Lord Jesus who Himself said He had no where to lay His head is not our perfect example. If Dr. Abel Damina preaches consistently like he has done in this video Jesus will use him in great dimensions.

I genuinely love Dr Damina but what Apostle Gideon is saying here, he is perfectly correct. The gospel doesn't end at salvation only, there's the place of Sanctification and Glorification.

Quoting scriptures out of context to backup such defence is even more offending to students of the Bible. Being critical of a person's actions is by no means synonymous with judging a person, as long as it isn't personal and is intended to protect the body of Christ. As a matter of fact, contending for the faith has everything to do with condemning extra biblical doctrines and beliefs. I find Jay Israel's submission totally appalling...and he did it so brazenly. Although,, Apostle Paul said it all in, Eph4:1-24.🕯️💯🙏🏽. All God's minister should carry out their gifted assignment, Unto A Perfect Man,( till I comes,) .. Apostle Paul called out the wrong that apostle Peter did before the saints without minding that he peter was in the ministry before him Paul.
