Damn, very promising... or me being very exited today about Factorio stuff, visiting sites ))) 🤩🔥 But story mod is hell of a stuff. With good scenario and gameplay it's just "what we need" addition to the game. As like as creativity tool )

@@galhorblack795 hi. Thats probably done on purpose from my side, because that chest activating the script. It should be possible to destroy it after script was done on it.
@@GreenGameplay thx for the reply, i ve think that the chest was tied to the script too " i m a programmer too" so i just restart the game and i was right and everything is just fine. this mod is trully amazing.... i play i dont know how many hours on it.
Hey man just wanted to stop by and tell you how much this mod brings to factorio. Sandbox is cool creating your own factory but a story mission to help you understand everything is much better then the tourital they gave
Back before legendary edition it was way easier to have this happen if you couldn't play multiplayer. Seriously, cutting your readiness in half if you didn't have online was a low move from EA.
really enjoying this one. but i don't know what to do with mission 7. right after mission 6, there is no message or any screen. just starts new default vanila game. is it right? i got no message nor object at all..
I really like the look of this. One of the things I was extremely sad about was how factorio never had a campaign in the end with the developers deciding it wasn't worth the effort, but I really do like how this looks. Hopefully it makes campaigns in factorio more common since I'd love to see what someone can do with mods in addition to the base game, or even specially design mods for a campaign if they've somehow got tons of spare time.
Hi, thank you. Actually Im not using any mod for creating the missions. Just what factorio offers in their lua libraries. And yes, it was very time consuming and took me a year to make it 😁 (and still is not finished :))
Took many many hours too complete all the missions. Superb work designing all these. I really enjoyed the progression of the story, the tech level, and the difficulty. Mission 7 was especially difficult and the only way I managed to survive the first iterations of expansion was manually destroying all bug nests so pollution didn't spread far enough to trigger attacks - if the map were infinite I would've likely lost several times over. The first part of mission 8 was also incredibly difficult, just walking over to the first base. Arriving at the third base I skipped artillery due to the immense research cost and wiped out any bug nests with explosive rockets and walled them off for combined flamethrower/laser defense. I really didn't expect the mission to end at the research of a spidertron, rather having to build like 3 additional ones and and having to cross the vast bug nest nightmare to a final destination (maybe some spaceport) with either nukes or assisting spidertrons being the only logical solution to eliminating that many nests. I also was surprised to not see any behemoth bugs. Really really looking forward to missions 9 and 10, and a coop campaign. This set of missions is exactly what factorio needs to be a full fledged game and everyone who plays the game should give these a shot
Hi, I'm glad you enjoyed the mod. About the mission 8, I had also similar idea about objective to build more spidertrons, but mission was already too long so I decide not to do additional objectives. And, I have good news. Mission 9 coming this week.
@@GreenGameplay it really wasn't that long. With such resource rich areas and finding so many utility science packs around, getting to 5000 was a matter of like 7 hours
@@GreenGameplay Took well over 40 hours for mission 9. The breadth of the mission was fantastic. Extremely well designed. Loved starting from a desperate situation likely unwinnable without the basic tech research and working hard to fight so many enemy bases. Even getting stone was a nightmare having to find every big rock in the area before having enough tech researched to take over the closest stone base. I had to defeat the first spidertron by depleting its ammo on dummy targets laid by robots and my shield. Every step maintained the high level of difficulty until the very last - I really did not expect to engage spidertrons with atomic bombs. Thankfully they do not refill their ammunition :D There are so many enemy fortifications I had to raid enemy chests for artillery shells. It only got easy when I had a power armor mk2 chock-full of personal lasers and a spidertron wielding full mk2 shields, supported by 4 artillery wagons.
I would love to play this multiplayer but unfortunately the function show_message_dialog only works when there is exactly 1 player on the map. Please make a multiplayer version of the missions by converting the paused messaged into print functions. My only other option is to comment out those messages which really takes away from the storyline.
