Hey obed nice work just wondering what kind of caulking glow you use it’s very expensive and what kind of paint you use I saw you use the paint on the windshield. What is the name of it?
Do you have a video on replacing the rear windshield, my local glass figment centre messed up mine, the brackets on the sides are not lining up properly, about a 1cm raise compared to original
This was a great install. Everything done properly. Not all glass shops follow proper instructions like this video so make sure to go to someone that has a good reputation. Also request manufacturer glass. It is held to much higher quality standards.
I know this video is a couple years old, but I was wondering, how do you keep from having the adhesive material squeeze out and become noticeable around the sides of the windshield? I have had a shop do it twice and both times they have made a mess. Am I being too picky, or should it be clean?
Great work man! Ive replaced three my self on older cars, brock one glass...rrr my brother did. Was going to do my wifes Rad4 but to many tools these days!! And there's some skill involved of course...Oh well leave it to the Pros instead. Very interesting to wach any way, Thanks for taking the time, ❤
Bro very professional good work, just I want to point out little thing if you gonna add in your video it’s helps a lot for viewers like you have to talk and told about every step which you missed that some places either one very professional work! Thanks
Finally a video that shows a windshield with the heating cord. Trying to figure out why my replacement windshield has heating elements but does not seem to heat.
Hi I just had the windshield replaced on my toyota kluger 2021 but i noticed that both the top corners the glass is rounded not the normal pointy edge that would sit in the corner. Is that normal if not original glass replaced wouldn’t it leak later on?
The molding on each side of windshield looks so easy to snap in. I accidentally pulled the top part out, and I am not able to get it back in. What could be wrong??
Thanks for the video! I just had my windshield replaced and didn't remember there being a "huge" gap between the glass and the a pillars. Sure enough, there is. I just never inspected the original windshield.
Good job taking care of this vehicle. I would go to you if I could. Can you tell me why you do the bottom urethane alone on the car but other 3 sides on the glass? Isn't there a risk of leaks this way if bottom doesn't connect to sides well without bubbles? I had someone do mine but they were not as careful. They broke off the clips that go in on either side of that large plastic bag that sits underneath the glass where the wipers attach. The clip on either end is broken off. Is there a way to fix that with something else or is leaving them out ok? Or where can you buy replacements? Also, they were not as careful removing the plastic side panels on each side and it seems they are now not seated in properly. I can see some of the white clips. Is there a way to get more of those white clips? The ones where there was 5 on each side panel. I saw them rip those panels off instead of slowly removing them like you demonstrate. Good job, and keep going. Thanks for the video. I may try to remove panel pieces myself to see if I can repair them or replace them. Is there somewhere you can buy replacements if needed? Thanks!
I have a separation due to degeneration of the rubber at the bottom of the glass and makes water getting in the car, What is my solution? new calking or new rubber gasket?
For the tools they using good job. But that cut out tool is so outdated, I was using that in 1986. Uk so far advanced in removal of screens is unbelievable.
I was discouraged in the business because of new glass and need to calibrate now windshield replacement business have to know how to calibrate new vehicles
