Hi, I am Shel C and this is a channel about my artistic adventures in various types of mixed media art and collage. I create videos showing how I make art out of paper, paint and other media. I feature mostly mixed media and collage processes but frequently dabble in other techniques and ideas. I love color and texture and experimentation! I take inspiration from my natural surroundings in Arizona USA. I also get inspired by other artists I interact with in social media.There is so much great art being shared all over the internet! All of my dylusion paints did the same thing and I tried to revive them but I had to throw them away, l will never buy them again their just simply not worth the money that they charge for them for them to dry out that way,and plus I wasn't all that impressed by them they are built off more hype then anything.
Hi! The bird is beautiful. I have a question. I us3d an acrylic paint pen on my gel plate tonight. Just some abstract swirls and such. I pulledva nice print but the marks from the pen ate staying on my plate even after successive pulls. Do you find that the paint pens "stain" your plate?

Lucky me, I've done seed beading, so I do know exactly what you are doing. What a great idea. I'm making paper beads now, bur that ALL IM DOING ! lol. Now what do I do whit all 300 of them ? Lol I'm so silly .
I love this! Sidenote, I use mayo for my dipping sauce for artichokes. However, I add a whole lot of freshly minced garlic, some lemon juice, and cracked pepper.
Wow it’s really weird but this video popped up in my Notifications feed tonight (14 April 2024). So I jumped straight on thinking that you may be back but no. It was this last Xmas video. I hope that you are doing well even though I know you were facing some difficult family issues. Using matte medium with water soluble colors makes them permanent. I make my p/d’s 2 sided and articulated making the inner doll articulated and cover any brads with the actual doll pieces. I make the head articulated by using a neck and a smaller head piece and covering it with the front and back. I once made a self portrait doll. The front was a bitch and the other front was nice. The words were included so no misinterpretation could be made.
