Seems like you missed the subplot about Dwayne's shady job and the LSD in the water. I did too but when I read about it online it made total sense and it's hinted at in the Epilogue.
I think I'm going to finally play this game for myself. I was waiting for it to be fully released, but I never heard much more on it, oddly enough. I really enjoy horror games that don't hold your hand. It brings me back to the old survival horror games, like Resident Evil 1-3 and Silent Hill.
I wanted to like this game, its just dumb puzzles that are all trial and error. Im on deloras and ive had to look up like 3 guides. Whats the point in making horror games that need guides ?? Make the game make sense.
I'm glad to see someone saying Lucy's chapter is the scariest. Everyone says Delores' chapter is the scariest, but I was genuinely relieved when Lucy's chapter was over. Fantastic and terrifying game.
This was the longest and most hyped up FNAF game and we were scammed for a 40 dollar prize. Hell, the story was even stomped on as they forced Afton to come back along making Henry's sacrifice pointless as Molten Freddy survived and gotten far worse.
Yes, there was an implied but hidden story line that Dwayne was working with MK ultra experiments. There are several clues in the game that point to this. And everyone who lived in the house was a victim. There are some redditors who have done some serious digging into the game to find the breadcrumbs and it’s actually pretty intelligent the way they designed it. You can play the game without ever having to suspect any of that, but once you pick up on a breadcrumb you can’t stop noticing them. A lot of those breadcrumbs are within Dwayne’s chapter, but you wouldn’t notice them unless you were looking. Like the radio hidden inside the wall in the basement VHS puzzle for example. That is a huge clue regarding another chapter. The comic book pages featuring the neighbor Rose are a huge clue as well, but you’d never know unless you had the breadcrumbs. Very cool game!
Even now, i completely have lost all willpower to play Security Breach, the only reason I sometimes hop on is to try and get an achievement (Which is why i haven't even touched Ruin) The game feels like it wants me to hate it around every single corner, it genuinely feels like the devs don't want this game to be fun. Even in the latest patch, I've managed to clip out of bounds on accident, re-enter the daycare, get spotted by Chica while she was eating...while inside Freddy and just kept entering the recharge station until she teleported away, i never even saw Vanessa a single time outside of the very fucking beginning of the game and i spent 31 hours on the run where i completed the DJ Music Man generator section because the staff bots always spun right as i went past, the animatronics spotted me from miles away even with the hoodie upgrade and i couldn't shake off any animatronic once they've spotted me. But i did end up reaching the ending...then post 6AM came and i currently haven't even beaten Chica or Fazerblast post 6am because what was once just draining due to difficulty is now soul-purging due to a long walk required to either area, 10-20 minutes of hard effort and suffering in which i may inevitably die during or after completing the section, requiring the entire thing to be repeated. Not to mention i usually have to spend a few retries learning the crazy map layout and the animatronic's route beforehand. In general, i came into SB with hope and now i wish to never touch the game again. The characters are nice and the environments can look beautiful with the right effects, but the game is best when in a vacuum and that vacuum is me not playing the excuse of a game.
Is this game scary? No. Is this game a joke? No. Is this game good in it's franchise? No. Is this game game good? No. But does this game has garbage code that allows tons of bugs, glitches, funny moments and challenges? Fricking yes, AstralSpiff and Backseat Streams alone proved it by themselves. It's good game but only if you try to beat it unintended way.
have a wierd question. i played til the tree house and the damn mirror scene. and could not find the camera. and i know where it is..... but isnt there...................... was i lucky. so all i say is almost if not beat two chapters with no camera. beat that
Love it! Best horror game I've ever played. Granted the second half is significantly less quality than the first half, but the first half is worth the money and time.
I actually really enjoyed this game. It's pretty easy to speed through it though after a first playthrough. The best section was the daycare when you had to go through and turn on the generators. Sure it was annoying/tedious, but it was the only REAL spooky part of the game as the animatronic looked terrifying.
The color pallete is what i notice changed most. The color pallette of lN 1 was mostly warm colors, and these muted, warm colors made the lighting feel harsh and oppressive. LN 2 has mostly blues and greys, which make the environments feel more surreal and cold, despite looking more realistic.
I was surprised that you thought the keyboard controls were a dealbreaker. Maybe it’s just because I hate controllers, but I had very little issue with turning around, my issue was the slide mechanic (I switched my keybind for it several times through the game since there were times when I needed to switch from keyboard and mouse to just keyboard.)
I’ve played a lot of horror and this is the scariest game I’ve ever played. That said it was a game i never finished because of the frustration of the gameplay and the boredom of all the walking and looking too much time being consumed.
Like literally how is this game scary with a slow ass beginning and I can't get into it because of it and I always havta watch a goddamn walkthrough for literally every single fucking horror game?!?!?! last time I played this game it had cheap jumpscares that come out of nowhere. Is that still the case or have they changed it? Because cheap jump scares isn't real horror

Yeah this fnaf sb game sucks like all this glitches are very annoying I also found a video of markiplier when he was planning to steal chica’s voice box and then freddy just glitch out by getting out of the elevator but the doors weren’t open tho like I wouldn’t say fnaf sb is a good game like it’s just so goofy.

Also about the sewers at 3:19 Because Of the notes and post it note…it seems like they were building up towards something in the game but whatever was supposed to happened never happened because of rush or deadline.
But.....the game *does* have animations to their "jump scares". At least with Freddy, Roxanne, Monty, Shattered Monty, Mini Music Man, and DJ Music Man.
Great video! just played through the first one. Although i will say Pony factory was one of my least favorites due to being slightly visually impaired and so i could almost never see the enemies and would just have to constantly blindly shoot. And that i was stuck at the end segment with only 10 health and seemingly no way to get any more health boxes.
