I stopped worrying about my back log. I play what I want when I want. I may never fully master a game or finish every single game I touch but enjoy it for what it is. That’s all you can really do in life. I would be nice to experience everything but there are other important things than just gaming.
And thats whats important. I stopped worrying a while ago before making this video and never felt better, no obligation and no sense of pressure to finish a game, which basically inspired me to make this video 😅😁
A lot of people seem to forget that the game was rushed and unfinished because of TLOU And the plot was way different that the game we got, there is still traces of that plot in the game (the plot twist was Talbot was a Djinn hence why he acted weird and surnatural, even the characters reacted to it, i also think that the djinn ennemies you fight where supposed to be real, the djinn in the jar is real but not the firery ones you fight) But still the game is still awesome and just behind 2 for me, its a shame the game was never truly finished otherwise it would have been close with 2 i think

@@domsdiary_ I just wasn't a fan of The Last of Us 2. The story is my main criticism. I liked everything else though. Just wish the story was so poorly done.
Maaan samee, I was really thinking as I was finishing Uncharted 4, maybe they could do a spin off with Sam and Sully or the whole other gang, Sam, Sully, Chloe and maybe bring back Cutter 🤔🤔🤔
@@taylornewell-je1zrkinda a little sad, don’t get me wrong tlou 2 is an amazing game as well as the first one BUT uncharted gets EXTREMELY overshadowed by it. So many people will never experience this beautiful game series due to it. Naughty dog has so my unseen gems.

Except for Nate I wouldn't say the game has a great story or richly developed characters, but it is a really nice, consistent and well paced ane executed adventure!
Yeah I agree, I just kept that for Nate's part of the story and the overall package the game gives 😁 Compared to the first and maybe even the third game, I think I had the most fun with it, next to Uncharted 4 as well 😁

The burden of the backlog is when you get burned out on one genre. Then decide to branch out. Suddenly there's 100s of games. Then there's the struggle of choosing a modern title in the genre or emulating a classic. My pc download speed is slower than a snail for whatever reason so I don't use my gaming laptop for emulation. Yet playing "the classics" is always itching at the back of my mind. Choosing what genuinely interests me is easy. Very few games genuinely hype me. That's my issue, I WANT to be genuinely into more genres and games than just 2 or 3 titles every few years. Feeling left out by not liking popular games or genres. I dont know if it's a lot of mental blocks or what. It just sucks and I want to enjoy new experiences while i wait for those tried and true franchises that take their time to come out and always get me hyped.
Yeah I feel you, with so many options it starts to feel overwhelming to choose what to play, I find myself in that position sometimes since my backlog is still pretty big 😅
@domsdiary_ For an idea of the games off the top of my head that I'm legitimately excited for (metroid prime 4: 2025, Doom dark ages: 2025, sonic x shadow generations: October, lollipop chainsaw remake: September) then there's stuff that looks fun that I may want to pick up (mario and luigi brothership: later this year, legend of zelda echoes of wisdom: September) My backlog games? Oh boy where to start: ff7 rebirth, returnal (the only things ps exclusive I want to play), system shock remake, get into shmups, arcade racing games that aren't mario kart, freedom planet 2, I want to get back into jrpgs, paper mario 1000 year door remake, super mario rpg remake, luigis mansion, I can just go on and on. It gets a little tough just picking a game, especially now since I'm considering bringing my switch to work to get an hour in every night on lunch breaks.
Same here, my October for this year is looking crazy 😭 Dragon Ball Sparking Zero and Silent Hill 2 Remake. Then for 2025 Doom Dark Ages and some other coom games that got announced, but still have some old games that I have to play man 😭 All the Metro games, Red Dead 1 and 2 and a whole bunch I cant think of right but I know I have 150+ games unplayed 😭
i honestly feel like this game didn't age that well. When i played it it was after all the sequels and i just couldn't get into it like i did with uncharted 2, let alone 4. I realise it's the first one and that's fine, but it just didn't quite hit me the way any of the other games did.
Yeah I can agree that the first one *definitely* doesnt click like the sequels, especially 2 and 3 (still playing 4). It is the first one but hey, if the first game is your worst, that can only be a good thing, since every other Uncharted game outshines the first one. But I still enjoyed my time with it and loved the story 😁

My only problem with the open world in this game was constant running back to the hideout to get a mission. Seeing the same route all over again gets boring pretty quick, makes you wish that they had something like "Pick a mission from a list and get to the point", with a hideout being a place for some training and power ups
I can object to some points given in this video. Starting with: 1-) Consistent practice is applicable to almost all things. For example, you can study harder to your lessons or watch a teacher solving some questions to get higher grades at an exam. This also increases your intelligence because you learn how to use your knowledge and gain different POVs. Another example would be learning a martial art and doing the same move a constant amount in a pre-set time period. 2-) Fighting games can be brute forced up to a point where you wouldn't even believe. Watch how far 3ddy bot made it in ranked. (3ddy bot is just a bot playing Eddy in Tekken 8 and pressing only 3 at gamepad aka left kick which unleashes a one button chain of 5 hits.) On top, flowcharts exist. You can condition your enemy into doing certain things and benefit so much off of it. 3-) Boosting Hand-eye coordination isn't reserved for fighting games. Yes, Tekken and other fighting games have hard to break grabs and players have to learn to pass that roadblock but a similar effect can be seen in FPS games as well with aim flicks. This is a general benefit for most online games, including some RTS games like Starcraft 2. 4-) Combo mechanics are different from game to game since there are unique mechanics like Burst in GGS, Zenkai Boost in DBFZ and Rage (and Heat) in Tekken 8. You could gain a general understanding about juggling the enemy but other than that, utilization of these unique mechanics in combos is necessary to be effective. But even at juggling, switching games would damage the muscle memory since hitstop also exists in many fighting games like GGS and DBFZ while other games do not have Hitstop. 5-) Online games also have a huge amount of toxicity coming with them and their community. Although I must admit, good and clean communities exist (and I hope they are much, MUCH bigger than what I expect because I don't really know how big they are). I would like to get deeper into these titles with examples but this is just youtube comments so if you'd like to hear a random's take about fighting games, just hmu and we can have a little chitchat

Out of all the games from the video, I would say either Tekken or Dragon Ball FighterZ since I clicked really fast with them, learned the basics in about 10-ish hours and continued to improve by doing the combos I had an easy time with and improvising throughout my playtime 😁 But any fighting game can be learned, given enough time. Im still learning to play Guilty Gear Strive, but the combos and visuals are so good and thats why I still want to learn and become good at it. It all depends on which game you pick and want to become good at 😁
One of the best games of the last 2 decades. I can never decide b/w Catalyst or the original Mirror's Edge, both have pros and cons. I love 'em both though.
You are definitivly improving bit by bit. As you now showed off the combat and parkour mix. Also feeel like you repeated yourself not as much. My main criticsm is the speed and emotion you need to use in your voice over. You are reading off a script ofc but the problem is that we as the viewers instantly recognice that. It feels you want to speedrun the script as it's quite hard to process what you say at points.
This was fantastic, Short and to the point. I adore Firewatch: It was one of the games that got me through a hard time in life. I hope this video bring you many more well deserved views. =)

On my first playthrough and going to the Hidden Ones DLC, it hit me with how natural the game progression was. I felt like a fighter who gradually became an assassin as I leveled up, and events led to the forming of the brotherhood.
@domsdiary_ wait for a sale. The season pass goes on sale quite often. It's definitely worth it. It has the best fortress to clear. Also, help the NPC who is looking for a female friend. Don't skip it.
I was very much disappointed in the story. I remember it starting off very strong in the beginning and it hooked me, but as an actual "origin" of our iconic assassins and their "creed" from the previous era of games, I was so let down. I also hated the new direction the gameplay went. Not a fan of the looting or "rpg" style for assassin's creed. The combat was too goofy and flashy for me too. The world was beautiful though, they always are in these games.
Yeah I agree with your points man, the story started off great and I wish we got a sequel or a trilogy to further see the origins of the Creed. For me the combat was okayish but I do agree the looting aspect did take away the joy a lil. Also forgot to mention level capping areas so you have to grind just to proceed further 😕
