This game was a classic, When setting up the game what did you do to lower the frame rate of the game? Do you happen to know how to start the game without using the Non-Cd Patch?
good thing you have reduced "legging" to a minimum, because, after a quarter of a century that have passed since my own walkthrough, today I have learned from your video the mechwarriors leave their destroyed mechs on a pod (I remember I've "legged" almost everyone back then so the only "ejecting!" I have noticed was in the intro lol)
Excellent playthrough. Love how controlled and considered you're aiming, keeps things real smooth for viewers, too. This is the only MW4 game that I didn't play, so appreciate the longplay including all cutscenes and briefings.
did you use a flight stick? picked up that usb logitech garbage stick and aiming on it is just a nightmare full of over-corrections. My dad's setup way back when had a Microsoft Sidewinder, and I loved that thing.
@@StancedVacuum no, just mouse and keyboard. To fix mouse aim you need to run MW4's with dgvoodoo 2 graphics wrapper and check Cursor hook in GeneralExt settings tab. I didn't know about the later at the time of recording this playthrough, that's why my aiming was erratic.
They are not making a games like this anymore... DoW is really a great RTS game. I would love to see a remake or remaster of this game, but I doubt that someone could make it.
@@Scorch0017 usually this thing so clunky that it can't reach enemy, 80 time it turning around. Also no matter what relic he fight, enemy relic will be killed by tau other units while this thing receive enemy firepower.
Too bad that was an accident. Mouse aiming in MW4 was broken, unless you run the game at the intended 30 FPS. Since I uploaded this playthrough, the new option was introduced to dgvoodoo 2, which fixes the problem with erratic mouse movement.
