Dan/ Martin, Thanks for very cogent video. Just curious but I am sure you had intelligent reason. Couldn't just use the existing 1/8 NPT thread and use 6AN to 1/8 NPT adapter without rethreading to 3/8? You know I am trying to take a short cut. LOL. Please explain the reason behind it when you get a chance. Thanks!
On the "popfluid", the issue was having no gap for the fire to get in. I wouldn't have put more ether inside. Perhaps that is a good time for the bucket under the wheel... to keep a gap. Just being an armchair ommenter. Take care, be safe!
I was thinking you don't need a bucket for mounting the second bead onto the rim. It just looked more awkward than doing it on the ground. Can you please tell me why acing it flat on the ground isn't a good way to do that? Thanks.
Glad i found this, i have an 04 laredo with the dark grey bumpers with a hitch.you literally can not find them in that color, however you can get them without the hitch bezel. Im gonna try and cut it and add the bezel off of my old bumper, Doesnt look to difficult!
Hey Dan thanks for the videos have used a few to fix a few things already. I wanted to ask you I have a 97 zj 4.0 when it’s cold it starts right up. Once I get it going and turn it on again it struggles to crank sometimes I have to crank it twice. What should I be looking at to replace. I’ve done the fuel pump and o2 upstream sensor for separate issues. And sparks are still fairly new.
I have a 99 Cherokee with rear fog light switch. My jeep didn’t seem to come with front fog lights however it looks that it has the wiring. Is there a way to disconnect the switch from running to the rear lights, and go to the front, so I can use it?
I believe the instructions state to assemble half the roof at a time which would prevent having to fight each piece from falling out on you. Lol pretty funny watching somebody not actually read the instructions and make another trip to get self tappers Edit: also if anybody is watching this to learn how to assemble your new car port canopy, it’s much easier to assemble the roof laying upside down
Nothing wrong with doing it that way if you know what your doing. Make a access cover bolted in place. My Buick LeSabre had a access cover in the trunk. Unbolted four bolts and it took me 20 minutes to replace.
The replacement Water pump is different from the original Magically it was changed in the video!! no part number or description, why? Is it a better one or an upgraded version?
You know what's ironic about this, That bolt that was loose on yours and that fell out, Was the same exact way on my WJ. That could have honestly been catastrophic if it would have got caught behind the crank pulley
I got 2010 commander, i lift it 2" and install 33" tires, i want to ask if you know how to level the headlights because now the flash everyone driving in front of me, excuse my english, i'm not from USA, i live en mexico
Hi, nice video Recently my horn, music controls and cruice control buttons stop working, i also got the Air bag light. Horn works when i use the remote control to lock the vehicle. Is this may be and issue with the clock spring?
Here is an alternative brake line set up, simply bend OEM line near vertical, bend hose bracket slightly and drill and tap 1/4 or 6mm hole to mount the hose bracket. to top of spring hanger plate. Tried to send photo but no go.
So I got a question. 4years later May 2024, how are you liking the speakers now. Looking at the same size, and considering these or JBL Club. Any suggestions
Only thing I don't like about mine is the uncomfortable seats. Worst seats ever. I have to sit slightly towards one side or the seams hurt my rear. Other than that, love it. '96 5.2 Limited, 73,000 miles.
Your video sucks I asked RU-vid one simple question where to place a floor jack to lift a Jeep Cherokee XJ without damaging the subframe this is the video that showed you didn't show s*** suck it video sucks
The "by yourself method" is to leave the three bolts in the fuel tank skid that aren't used for the hitch... The hitch has oversize holes fit over two of the bolts and the third one is forward of where the hitch mounts on the driver's side... Much easier than dropping the fuel tank skid...
