R.I.P Al Jackson. Taken way too early in his life, showing how percussion is meant to be.

Fantastic song. Bluesy, yet dancy, Mod delight. You can see each of them are really feeling the music. Shame they don't make songs like this nowadays.

I was 3 or 4 (can’t remember exactly)… Dad said ‘hurry up, the Book is down again’. “Dad, I ain’t wearin’ that black face shit and standin’ on the stool with them fake legs like last time.” ‘Listen you sawed-off piece’a piano playin’ shit, you’re gonna do it AND make that fuckin’ audience howl or I’ll bone your mommy in the ass!’ So yea, believe it or not, that’s me up there. The video quality is pretty bad, but that’s good ‘cause it looks like it’s really Booker up there.

Loanne Parker seems nice but also extremely naive. Parker cared about two things, money and Parker. I can’t understand how people were so shocked Elvis died considering the way he looked at his last performance. Not just his looks but mentally too. You could see everything was clearly wrong. He didn’t even look fat, he looked blown up like you could pop him with a pin. It was sadly very clear at that show that the end was near yet everyone around him had their heads in the sand. Just devastating, the world was robbed of the best singer, entertainer, man it’s ever known. 47 years later we STILL mourn him as if he passed yesterday. #RIPElvisPresley 👑

The wife of Colonel Tom said that he was devastated when Elvis died. I bet he was. His money train left the station.

Undoubtedly one of greatest songs from the 1960's. It still sounds as heavy today in 2024 as when it came out. Unreal.

Too right. I don't know how anyone could not get up and boogie to that. The song had a revival in the eighties and a lot more folk danced then. But the single didn't really capture the sounds from the live performance shown. Thanks for your comment @@dNorsh
