This article is for the programmers who record or encode sounds; I respect your efforts, but I have to say this. The engine sound suddenly stops when shifting gears or when we release the gas, and this is extremely disturbing. The engine sound should not go away suddenly. It should decrease gradually according to the speed. Please think about this.
Hello SCS Software Why Electric sound ? People need normal diesel engine sounds on to the other trucks, who the hell needs electric sounds. You definitely don't listen to your community, which supports your company and its development. Just listen to what people want, and then experiment with different things, like these electric sounds. Remember one thing: People always come first in game development. Literally most people in the community want normal diesel engine sounds and yet you put something that isn't even that offensive into the game and for the people who formulate your community. I hope you think a little and pay more attention to the opinions of people for game development. They are the main changer for the development of a computer game, not you. Stop doing things that are not so important to people, because you literally lose the interest and desire to play your video game, which implies that they should provides realism and good experience to people.
So I don't need it, I'm sticking with the Scania, but I think it's sad that they're not even slowly starting to make animated doors. That would advance the game even more and several people would be happy if it was slowly added in
Let me guess. There will be 2 more electric truck models added to the game by SCS, and those 2 electric truck models are definitely Volvo and Mercedes after this electric Scania truck is added to the game.
It's boring to drive a diesel truck in the game for a long time. It's nice to see SCS is electrifying their game by adding electric trucks. We should accept the fact that electric vehicles are the future of the world, and there is nothing wrong with SCS prioritizing adding electric truck models to the game. SCS doesn't force you to drive if you don't want to. So don't scream like those idiots every time electric vehicles are mentioned.

It seems that among the truck manufacturers, Scania, Renault, and DAF are the ones that have a very good relationship with SCS. Hopefully, in the future, more electric truck models from truck manufacturers such as Volvo and Mercedes will be added to the game by SCS.

i can't wait for the electric scania, although i hope it's not 610hp as indicated on the scania website, otherwise i prefer the 666hp renault e, but well, i doubt the scania will be ready in 2 months if they are just doing the rendering xd

It's just a mistake, maybe when the stations are ready for the electrics, I doubt that they will modify some things and launch the trucks without any mistake.
@@EzSergioMC It's not a mistake, it has a gearbox. The reason why is because it retains more torque this way, and doesn't need to spin up too fast. It'll still deliver the same amount of power, just more efficiently.
with agreement, the renault electric is so powerful that it beats scania in raw power. we will have to see this scania, which is said to be 610hp less than the renault electric, but who knows, maybe it will come with a better engine.
SCS or Iveco? Most of the time is related to licenses and SCS can't do much on that. The brands are the ones who allow or not the companies to use their products in the games.

I don't like this development, the trucks cannot be deployed for your average jobs because they are electric with very limited milage and even if there was to be a charge post at every petrol station its not like you charge the batteries as fast as putting diesel in, also like the Renault you can only drive them in quick jobs. Electric vehicles are by far ready for long haul so I would like to see you guys to stay focussed to diesel powered trucks as we can buy own and modify them, heck why not implement the Iveco S way? Although the soundcrew must have a great time here, at least no engine sounds to worry about. Plenty of stuff to do, the 2021 Volvo and Mercedes release dates, perhaps focus on the fact we can finally interact in the cockpit but also open the doors walk out to do stuff. There are loads of other things people requested I dont believe etrucks had special priority when asked!
Firstly, it is a game, and here you can make charging as the speed of refueling diesel, this does not interfere with anything, it will work like that! and secondly, scs said that the Renault that is ordered by agencies will be temporary, and then they will let you buy it as your own!
I was just thinking about this a little bit more, you can implement these trucks but you should create a specialized marked for them with it, like delivering goods to multiple drop off points in the area, once the job (mostly during day time in city enviroments) is done you drive to you garage you get out of your truck put it on charge for the next day like in real life, after that you go to your office and work on orders so you can keep your business going, or is this maybe a little bit too much at once ^^
