Those two actors couldnt have played those characters as great as they did if there wasnt some actual fellings for each other. If they didnt have actual feelings for each other or if there was a fued between the two of them it would have showed on screen.
I think the saddest thing about the while thing is the Richard and Emily are such snobs they never excepted Luke. Considering his much he loved their own daughter and granddaaughter. To me it just proved they never loved Lorelai.
Damnit! I’m 5 years too late and am watching this show for the first time. I had to keep rewinding lol cause my heart couldn’t take it! I know the gist and kinda of how it ends but gosh I love this show. 😻 I love Luke in this episode and throughout the show. He’s amazing and loves her so much! 🥺 can’t wait to see how the rest of this plays out. Oof 😅 he looks great too and these two are just so adorable.
I love the way he looks at her! It takes great acting to portray passion and he does it better than most anyone. I also love the way they start the dance at a distance, but by the end, she's close with her head almost on his shoulder. They are meant for each other!
She looks beautiful in that dress, sometimes the fancy clothes they had her wear in this show didn't accentuate her curves which always bothered me, taking a naturally gorgeous woman and giving her unflattering clothes but only when they went to parties and stuff.
I love whole this scene, talking before dancing and the dance itself. How they start dance far away from each other and step by step they bring nearer and nearer to each other. And how he looks on her whole the time! And Lorelai is also awesome - she seems to be quite surprised at the beginning, but then she is completely swallowed by the moment, I think that there on the wedding is the moment, when she finally started realise and admit to herself what everybody knows from the beginning of the series. They both are cute! And the song is beautiful!
Oh, how I underestand you. Now I am rewatching GG, I fell in love with my youngest years´s favourite series (and especially with Luke :) ) again and because of this song I have taken my guitare after a very long time and now I am playing this beuatiful song almost every day.
This is by far the best scene in the show. It was beautiful and the lighting was perfect. The fact that the dancing wasnt perfect, just added to the scene. We couldnt believe that Luke was a good dancer. Now could we?
