It's such a different world. One dive you can see five feet to the right that you never knew existed and the next dive is another five. It makes it fun to dive the same site over and over again, and if it was clear, you'd be bored in the 2nd dive. I'd like to go back to St. Lucia haha
Wow bud. Sorry I let you down. Also, thank you for correcting me on such a trivial thing. You must be a ton of fun at a party. Also, it’s the name of the wreck so get over yourself.
Yes. You really only get 5-8 feet of visibility on a good day. If you dive the dam, you’ll get a little better viz due to all the big rocks and less mud.
@@greenmanzzwe run into all kinds of fish down there such as walleye and bass. Occasionally we run into cat fish. I know it seems murky, but for Kentucky lakes, this one is the cleanest. Lake Cumberland is pretty good as well at certain times.
We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott. It’s right across the street by some restaurants and in a decent area. Check out this place on Google Maps maps.app.goo.gl/kT2KTFRSqrsQeCi87?g_st=ic
Enjoyed the video and congratulations. What charter did you dive with? Were they able to supply your nitrox? Was there anyone doing a tech dive on board? This dive is on my list
We used MBT Divers and they were great. We had some CCR guys on the boat and they just stayed down the whole time and popped up when we ran into them doing deco on our second dive. Everyone was in the boat at the end of the dive within 30 minutes it seemed like. They may supply air I’m not sure. We were diving in other locations so we drove down with a bunch of tanks.
Luckily we are in a no boat zone. We also have a dive flag boyue to help warn boaters that we are below. If you are in the Lexington area, I highly recommend Tanked Up Scuba for diving certifications.
