Don't the white attachments on the back of the board need to be removed? I thought these just controlled the orignal gauges so no need for them? Other videos say to remove these.

Are you able to see pop up error message such as “low oil pressure. Turn off engine!” I have the same digital dash but I can’t see any error messages even though I hear the chime from the speedometer

thanks for the video -- contemplating trying this for my 2016 CC. just installed an android head unit and it works great. if I don't necessarily need the reverse camera function for the digital dash, would it be just plugging in to the existing socket? I saw one video where wires had to be routed a lot.

You didn't actually connect the original cluster PCB to any of the internal wiring or ribbon headers...
