Hey, I am in Melbourne. Is this the model from Rexsupersport the best quality? I am seeing a lot of models on Aliexpress etc. but am being cautious before purchasing. Any long term issues, e.g. language/text, rebooting, crashing, speed or info discrepancies? Thanks, have been enjoying your videos!
Hey Mate awesome videos! I've also purchased the dash but I'm having some issues, maybe you could help me solve some of them ? I would really appreciate it 🙏🏽 List of problems 1. It can make random phone calls when using the menu buttons and pressing ok. And when listening to radio it also changes radio stations when using the cluster menu buttons 2. The return button doesn't work on the steering wheel 3. You can't see your contact list or make phone calls from cluster, Always says no Bluetooth connection on cluster screen 4. You can't get the navigation directions from original nav like original cluster 5. The clock doesn't sync with the stereo and you can't change the time to 12hrs 6. You can't dim the dash at all, not even with the original cabin dash light dimmer 7. Gear status won't show up for manual cars as original dash did 8. No footwell lighting control 9. The R logo is red when should be blue 10. The DCC modes don't show on the cluster like the original does ( Sport, normal and comfort ) 11. I can't get the coming home and leaving home light feature to work and the passenger door to unlock with one press on the remote Cheers Raph Are you aslo having these issues ?
hi, did i see that you have dynaudio sistem? does the xtrons radio work on the first try? I read on their site that they are not compatible with dynaudio, can you help me?

Nice video! Do you know if a regular Discover Media system would allow to mirror the CarPlay display on a Virtual Cockpit retrofit just like your Xtrons does? Any cabling needed (you mentioned HDMI)? Thanks!
Sorry i dont know. You could ask your install audio installer if you can add rear head rest screens to your system. As they use HDMI it might give you the answer your after.

Hi how did you stop the audio playing through the display from the head unit Via HDMI? I have the same head unit and dash but when I play music it plays through the small speaker at the back of the display as well
@@Jaysiphone Yes it is now. i got mine from Rexxsupersport as they were the only supplier when i got mine. Go to aliexpress and save some cash no support mind you. I get support.
i bought one too but had to return it because it died after a week. it constantly blew fuses until one morning it stopped working all together! the display also had an insane amount of bleeding and the brightness doesnt adjust at night!! also, my gear display didnt work. it looks like they dont support manual transmission. the overall quality for an 800$ part is very poor. dont buy this!
@@Sebastiannn13 its not like your car wont work but it wont show you the selected gear. instead the geardisplay will glitch arround and constantly show you stuff like " -- or D or S6 " which randomly changes arround. its obv they didnt program that in. technically they can send you updates but where would you get them from lol. your aliexpress seller? :D i think i should also mention that the displayed speed is higher than with my original cluster. this is particiulary annoying when u try to put your car into cruise control. the cruise control indicator will show you your actual speed (lets say 50) and the clusters speedo will show you 56 instead. i personally found this mismatch super annoying besides the fact that i want my car to show at least a somewhat accurate speed. at 160kph the new cluster already showed 190+ i compared it to CAN signal and GPS with the old cluster which at high speeds was only 8kph off. not 30 there is also many more issues i had. for example the extended cluster settings my original one had: "comfort" and "light and sight". a lot of the settings of my original one were simply missing or didnt work. i also got random errors, such as tire pressure, although i dont have tire pressure monitoring enabled. i could not remove said error anymore and had that thing constantly flashed at me. theres probably a hundred other things that were wrong with this thing but all i wanna say is save your time and money
