For the oak rite quest (cat claw), you didn't really have to drag that chaurus all the way to the ritual site. The harvest menu actually has a "pick up" option that puts the carcass in your inventory in a neat little sack. Chaurus doesn't have this option, but you can totally bring your own kill from elsewhere.

Cildalalwe Bel, born under the sign of the Atronach, was always an outsider, even among his own people. A full-blooded Altmer, but with roots tracing back to Morrowind through his parents and grandparents, he never quite fit into the rigid, elitist society of the Summerset Isles. Unlike the arrogant, narcissistic Thalmor who dominated Altmer life, Cildalalwe was kind, empathetic, and shy, traits that only made him more alien to his peers. He had once hoped to find belonging, but even the daedra worshippers and other outcast groups ignored him. Burnout came swiftly after starting a taxing business and building a doomed relationship with a half-Altmer woman, a bond he thought would help him escape the suffocating atmosphere of the Isles. But it didn't last-nothing did for Cildalalwe. The Thalmor, ever-watchful, took notice of his vulnerability and cunningly brought him into their service. Once, Cildalalwe had dreamed of joining the Thalmor ranks, but the bitter truth soon revealed itself: they were not noble protectors but perverse manipulators. Still, they had power over him, and when they threatened his family, he had no choice but to comply. Cildalalwe was forced to wield a dark artifact-the Orb of Vaermina, a daedric relic that enabled the Thalmor to spy on the Imperials. The orb twisted his abilities, granting him strange and horrifying powers. Eldritch blasts, bizarre summoning rituals, and the ability to summon impossible eldritch horrors became his grim arsenal. His magic became twisted by nightmares, and his skill with a bound bow made him a dangerous archer-warlock hybrid. But it wasn't by choice. Cildalalwe was not a warrior by nature-he was an artist, a dreamer, a kind soul. His power was a curse, and his servitude a prison. When the opportunity presented itself, he faked his death during the dragon attack at Helgen, escaping the Thalmor's grip. He made his way to Winterhold, drawn by the Eye of Magnus-a mysterious orb the Thalmor coveted. He knew too well the dangers of such artifacts, and as he walked the frozen wastes, his mind wandered back to the night he first spoke to Hermaeus Mora, the daedric prince of knowledge. Thinking about the offer Mora gave him to shield him from Vaerminas Orb and gain forbidden knowledge of the Thalmor. taking the Eye of magnus and putting it under my own safety was my first objective and this is roughly the backstory i made for this character

The Raid on Broken Fang Hollow: A Bandit’s Nightmare Perspective of Rhorvak Ironblood, Bandit Chief of Broken Fang Hollow The cave was our haven, tucked deep in the mountains west of Whiterun. Broken Fang Hollow had been my sanctuary for years, where we bandits scraped together a brutal, lawless living. We had a system: steal from the rich, raid caravans, take what we could from the weak. For years, it worked. There was Gorrik, my second-in-command, a brute of a Nord who once ripped a man’s throat out with his bare hands. Then there was Liska, a sharp-eyed Imperial archer who never missed a target. The rest-Herdal, Jorik, Siva-were the usual thugs. We were a family, twisted though it was, bound by greed and survival. That night, we were sitting around the fire in the main cavern, the spoils of our latest raid scattered across the stone floor: bags of gold, enchanted trinkets, and a few bottles of Black-Briar mead. The cold wind howled outside, but we didn’t mind. The cave was secure, hidden deep enough that no one would come looking. Or so we thought. "Chief, did you hear that?" Gorrik’s gruff voice cut through the crackling of the fire. I frowned. "Hear what?" He narrowed his eyes, peering toward the cave’s entrance. "Thought I heard somethin'... like whisperin'." "You're hearing things. It's the wind," I grunted, dismissing his worry. But there was something unsettling in the air tonight, a chill that crept into my bones. Liska looked up from her spot by the fire, fingers tracing the fletching of her arrows. "I heard it too. Faint, like voices... not human." I cursed under my breath. Bandits weren’t afraid of anything-except the things we didn’t understand. But I wasn’t about to let them see me shaken. "Nothing's out there. Keep watch if it makes you feel better." An hour passed. The wind outside grew fiercer, howling like a wounded beast. The fire flickered unnaturally, casting long shadows across the walls. I stood up, pacing the cavern. Then it happened. A sound, like a deep growl, echoed from the entrance. Every bandit in the camp froze. "Chief," Gorrik said, his voice low and tense. "Something’s coming." Before I could bark an order, a cold mist began to seep into the cave, swirling unnaturally toward us. The temperature plummeted, and a heavy, oppressive silence fell. Then I saw it. A figure, cloaked in shadow, standing just at the edge of the cave. His features were obscured, but I could see the faint glow of green eyes-like some kind of beast. "Cildalalwe," he said softly, his voice like the wind over a graveyard. "What the fuck is this?" I spat, reaching for my sword. "Who are you?" The figure stepped forward. Slowly. Deliberately. "I... am not here... for you." The first strike came with no warning. A creature, a horror unlike anything I'd ever seen, appeared beside him. It was as if it had crawled out of a nightmare-an amalgamation of tentacles, limbs that twisted in impossible angles, and a face that resembled a rotting skull. Its eyes, dozens of them, blinked in random patterns, staring at us with a hunger I’d never known. Gorrik, always the first to fight, charged. He swung his massive axe, but the creature was too fast. With a bone-chilling screech, it lunged, wrapping its tentacles around his body. Gorrik let out a strangled scream as the tentacles constricted, crushing him with a sickening crack. "By the gods!" Liska shouted, drawing her bow and firing off an arrow. It struck the creature, but it did nothing. The thing kept moving, dragging Gorrik’s twitching body into the mist. "What in Oblivion is that?!" Siva cried, her voice trembling. The figure-this Cildalalwe-raised his hand, and the creature vanished into the darkness, Gorrik’s mangled form disappearing with it. The eldritch horror was gone, but we knew more were coming. We scrambled for our weapons, but it was too late. Another monster, a massive, shadowed beast with long, dripping fangs, materialized from thin air. Its body seemed to shift and blur, as if it wasn’t fully in our world. Liska loosed another arrow, but it passed straight through the creature, as if it were made of mist. The beast lunged at Herdal, tearing into him with teeth that seemed to pierce through both flesh and soul. His screams echoed through the cave, but no one dared move to help him. I stared at Cildalalwe, shaking with rage and fear. "You bastard! What are you? What do you want?" He stepped closer, his eyes glowing brighter. "I am... a servant of powers you cannot comprehend. You should not have crossed into this... territory. But now, you will serve as a message." We fought. We fought with everything we had. Jorik managed to land a blow on one of the creatures with his warhammer, but it only delayed the inevitable. One by one, they fell-ripped apart, swallowed by shadows, or simply consumed by the eldritch magic that warped reality around us. I was the last. Blood dripped from my sword as I stood, panting, watching my men die in ways too horrifying to describe. Cildalalwe approached me, his expression calm, almost sorrowful. "You should not have been part of this... but you were in the way." I growled, raising my blade. "I’ll kill you, you twisted freak." His eyes flashed. "No. You will... fade." The final horror appeared then. A towering figure, its body composed of writhing tendrils and eyes, floated above the ground. It moved toward me, slow and deliberate, the air around it warping as it passed. My body froze, paralyzed by fear, and the sword slipped from my fingers. I could feel its eyes on me, boring into my soul. My mind screamed, but no sound escaped my lips. In the last moments, as the creature reached out to claim me, I realized the truth: this was no raid, no simple attack. This was something far worse-a nightmare given form, a harbinger of doom. And Cildalalwe was its master. The last thing I saw was his glowing eyes, watching as the horror consumed me. "The tides... have turned," he whispered. And then, there was nothing. Cildalalwe Bel, standing alone amidst the ruin of the camp, summoned the last of his eldritch power. The creatures faded, vanishing into the void from which they came. The bandits were gone-wiped from existence, their souls claimed by nightmares far worse than death. He stared at the carnage for a moment longer, then turned, disappearing into the mist as silently as he had come. The Thalmor would hear of this.

There is a way, but it's not easy. For sweeping bulk changes to properties in a plugin (or several plugins), you'll probably need to use xEdit's scripting system. I haven't done any scripting of my own, but if you're feeling adventurous, right-click on a plugin in the left pane, and click "Apply Script..." That'll open up a dialog box with lots of different scripts that you can look at for examples. After all that, don't be surprised if you think it'd be easier just to do them all manually though, lol.

@carn114
@carn114 Месяц назад
Hmm, must be an invisible barrier that is not attached to the wall itself. If it's the boundary of the area, removing the wall won't help anyway. If it's not the boundary, not sure if there is a way to grab id of the barrier from the game space through these means. Might need to fire up the Creation Kit, which is an entirely different process out of the scope of this video. I dunno, maybe try clicking around while in the console, see if any ids pop up where the wall used to be?

Okay, first I want to thank you for helping me build my concept of a way to play a cyberneticist. Instead of following your approach, I chose a path of self improvement(roleplay wise these are cybernetic enhancements) so I took Wellness, Fitness, Pain Tolerance, Energy Weapon Dissapation, Gymnastics, and Rejuvenation from the Physical Tree. On social I maxxed Persuasion and Diplomacy. On combat as I am the real weapon I only took the general skills, Ballistics, Lasers, and Demolitions. Only took Medicine with the concept of my cyberware makes me more efficient at healing. Only one rank in Boost pack and the starting point in security in the tech tree. Again my concept was using cybernetics to improve me so I am less reliant on the crutches of average warriors(read tech, armor and specialized weapon training.) So far it hasn't been bad in combat, I can also just use the best gear I find or purchase without needed to look for a specific weapon or armor.

I'd advise against changing the mod itself. This can create other problems later down the road, and if you ever update the mod you'll have to make the change all over again. Better practice is to create a new patch mod that will overwrite it. It's basically a single extra step. In xEdit you can just right click on the entry and press "Copy as override into...". Then just tick <new file>, preferably the one with ESL flag. There you can change it however you want, and it'll be persistent throughout any future updates. Remember to actually enable the esp in your mod manager.
@carn114
@carn114 Месяц назад
@Feligresa this was addressed in earlier comments, but yes this is the most correct way of doing it. If you have a large modlist or wabbajack, there may not be room even for another esl, though. @carn114
@carn114 Месяц назад
Most important difference is that I followed this guide 3 years ago, and much may have changed in the mean-time. There are lots of new combat animations that change gameplay that this guide may now follow, but I'm just not sure. I'm very centered on Enai-Rim for gameplay, so prefer a more vanilla style combat, personally. With that said, I use the full Enai-Rim suite of mods: Ordinator, Apocalypse, Wildcat, Sacrosanct, Odin, Triumvirate, Wintersun, Summermyst, and Imperious. I don't think NOLVUS uses them all, last I checked. It also has a few overhauls that require LOTS of patching, that I skipped. City overhauls, interior overhauls, CACO, and Legacy of the Dragonborn all are huge mods that require lots of patching, and I just left them out. This also requires alot of self-patching for consistency patches, so knowledge of xEdit is needed for what I've done. Otherwise, these consistency patches are provided for you, but require full adherence to the guide.

Not any really easy way, unfortunately. It'd be nice if they had a FOMOD with the options of which weapons you want to include/remove. You could just rip the animations out of the mod, and drop them into their own mod as a straight animation replacer. But then all swords would be considered spears, all maces would be whips, all warhammers would be quarterstaves, etc. You could make it a PCEA profile, though. But then NPCs wouldn't get to use the new animations.

Could have a mod that grants you a “plague aura”/one of those passive effects the nature atronach’s have, that’s like insects, but it could be black, that grants health damage, similar to that of poison. When enemies get too close, they take damage, thus the passive “death aura”. Could call it a death field. So, I guess, for the plague walker, you can raise/turn corpses into zombies. Also, I’d recommend a mod that allows you more interactions with conjurations, including allowing you to command zombies to do special things. As well, as a mod that allows you more than 1 follower at a time, that way, it helps with the zombie horde vibe you’re going for. Looks like modwatch is having trouble lately. Basically, I'm using an old custumized version of NOLVUS guide, plus all of the full Enai-Rim mods.

what running animations did you use for male and female
@carn114
@carn114 2 месяца назад
Male animations are Leviathan for walk and sprint. Regular jog/run animations are handled by "ndh's Animation Overhaul" Female animations for walk are "mcgFemaleWalk for Skyrim SE". Regular jog/run animations are again handled by "ndh's Animation Overhaul". And sprint animation is vanilla. NDH's sprint just looks silly, IMO, so I left that out of the FOMOD.

off topic but MKX is better than MK11
@carn114
@carn114 2 месяца назад
Lol, it's *kinda* on topic. MKX gameplay was less restricted, like a Marvel VS game, and MK11 was reined in a bit more like a Street Fighter game. Personally, I preferred MK11, because it put more focus on the neutral, and was more footsies based. It also made the game easier to comprehend for more people. Also, casually, I loved the graphics improvements and shear amount of single player content in MK11. MKX guest characters were a bit better, though, I think.

Love this build brother, and happy to see it in its full completion. This one was a fun one to observe live as well, and see how it went through some stages (and got rebuild). I even started my own Stigr, but don't have much time to play during the summer, so it might be a fall project for me :) Looking forward to more interesting builds in the future!

Excellent build as always, here are some suggestions for extra combo potential: Jone's shadow shout from thunderchild: the first word is identical to the ghostwalk spell, giving you an option to cast it without a magicka cost. Shroud of snowfall shout from thunderchild: gives you invisibility and scaling muffle depending on how many words you have unlocked, but can only be used outdoors. Shadowbond spell from apocalypse: you and your target gain invisibility and switch locations when invisibility is broken, can be useful for stealing an enemy's advantageous position. Expose weakness and expose spirit from odin: your next sneak attack against the target deals more damage and drains stamina/magicka.

Why don't you make a barbarian/warrior thing like there is inspired by diablo 3 and world of warcraft changing the mana into rage of fury it will be awesome if show us how to be barbarian
@carn114
@carn114 2 месяца назад
Well, as it turns out, I am doing a Warrior build right now that is partially inspired by the Diablo 4 Barbarian. Particularly the Walking Arsenal stuff with lots of weapon switching and synergistic enchantments. But the Magicka = Fury idea is quite intriguing. I could enchant weapons with Absorb Magicka for gaining "Fury" through regular attacks, and hook some spells up to Spell Scribe for added boom. There are also some cool spells in Arcanum that would fit the bill, I think. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thus character is actually very similar to my Khajiit night blade build in both skills and backstory. Backstory: My night blades name is Ro'Dak ShadowClaw. His backstory is as follows, growing up in the slums of Bravil in a shack during the great war. The slums were hardly a good place to live, but as the great war raged more and more capable fighters left the city to join the fight which left only the most corrupt and useless guards to keep the city under control. This naturally lead to a massive surge of criminal activity which took his family and what little happiness he had away from him, and the guard taking advantage of him stole his family home and sold him off as a slave to some visiting dunmer. Fortunately, growing up in Bravil taught him some useful skills allowing him to pick the lock and in short order kill the dunmer slave master. This however got the was a dark brotherhood kill. Thankfully, the dark brotherhood saw potential in the young boy, and took him in where he'd discover his talent for illusion magic, stealth, and murder that is until the empire proceeded to kill the dark brotherhood in cyrodil. Managing to escape he was distraught the empire had taken his family from him twice among other injustices, and now he will have vengeance upon the empire. When role playing he will do everything in his power to make the empire suffer, and will kill legion soldiers and their supporters whenever he can get away with it. Using the alternate start mod I choose to go with the Khajiit caravan option roleplaying that he tagged along with them to cover his escape and identity. Factions: Factions to join are the thieves guild, mages guild, storm cloaks, and the dark brotherhood. The thieves guild is joined to obtain more income and due to his ties with it in the past. The mages guild will be joined to learn more of illusion magic. The dark brotherhood will be joined to regain the family he lost, and he will be overjoyed to assassinate the emperor of the imperium. The storm cloaks will be sided with not because he cares about talos in anyway, but because he will do everything in his power to make the empire suffer. During the dawnguard questline he'll side with the vampires both for the power vampirism provides, and because the vampires will be a problem for the empire. Gear: Armor - Starting off, you'll make good use of the shrouded armor given to you when you join the dark brotherhood, and the ring of Khajiit will be good till you can get the invisibility spell. late game you'll eventually switch over to the sithis armor from the requisite mod which you'll enchant with fortify sneak attack, fortify illusion cost, rollback, and deadly reach. As for weapons I recommend using whatever dagger has the highest damage you can get your hands on until you obtain the shrouded dagger from killing Astrid which with the reliquary of myth grants invisibility when you kill an enemy which makes for some very nice combos. Mehrune's razor can also be used which reduces enemy armor by 300 points. Spells, Shouts, & Powers: The spells this build will use include but are not limited to ghost walk, invisibility, muffle, calm spells, fear spells, frenzy spells, and the shadow mage spells from triumvarite. Most of your illusion spells will be able to affect even the likes of the ebony warrior. As for powers being a Khajiit will give you night eye after you obtain 50,000 gold, and you'll make regular use of the laughing ghost, shadow step, and other powers granted by the sneak skill. For ocato's recital I use invisibility, shadow cloak, and whatever you want in the third slot. Lastly, for shouts I use slow time, marked for death, become aetherial, aura whisper, and throw voice. Notably, the bound dagger spell can also make for a good early game option, and is especially useful when you don't have a weapon for whatever reason. Combat: In combat you'll be teleporting around like crazy thanks to the shadow stone, ghost walk spell, vampire powers, triumvarite spells, and laughing ghost power from the sneak tree. While your doing your best impression of skippy gonzales you'll be spamming frenzy spells and sneak attacks onto unsuspecting foes until the either kill each other or die by your hand. The rollback enchantment will aid in this allowing you to return to the location you were 4 seconds ago, and the deadly reach enchantment will take this to the next level by uncapping the distance of your teleportation. This will let you do things like sneak dragons mid flight, or deliver a powerful blow on an enemy hundreds of feet away. This will also let you traverse skyrim insanely fast through the use of the vampires teleportation ability which thanks to deadly reach also has its range uncapped. I also like placing traps for a good change of pace utilizing rune spells, tripwires, and the oil pools from alchemy for devastating damage. If you are ever discovered utilize invisibility and sneak perks to escape detection or utilize various illusion spells to turn calm, fear, command, or simply swarm enemies with illusion copies of themselves. I also recommend using the spell scribe power to make your power attacks deliver spells when your magic is empty.

How can you cast eldritch spells with the bow😮?
@carn114
@carn114 2 месяца назад
It's a mod called Ordinator that overhauls the perk trees. The perk for this is called "Lion's Arrow" which allows you to hook up most spells that you can dual-cast to a fully-drawn bow shot. Turns out, I have a guide for it :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YWLYsAI4Iro.htmlsi=5yUcCb9hyuZOqeuI

if you're looking for a mod to add another fitting armor set to this guy look for the black bear armor in nexus. before you complain that it's heavy armor, it comes with 2 light armors you can mix and match however you please. it also comes with a patch that replaces the stormcloak officer armor with it. (also idk if its ported on anniversary or special edition. I think it's simple enough to use this legendary edition mod on a later version of skyrim.)

I would personally recommend the use of honed metal for this guy. It gives you something to do with all that money, and it provides you with some much stronger gear.
@carn114
@carn114 2 месяца назад
I'm conflicted on Honed Metal because it sort of violates the sanctity of class balance a bit. If all classes have access to high-end crafting, then the classes that do have it don't feel special anymore. That being said, it's nice to have access to the exact piece of equipment with the exact right enchantment on it for any build. So I definitely wouldn't discourage anyone from using it if they wanted. The challenge for me is always completing these build concepts in 50 perks or less, which I find super fun. And I think at level 50 with no investment in any crafting perks, this character is still very strong and viable at all difficulties. Beyond level 50, I do highly encourage players to pursue "stretch" goals to make the build even more fun and/or powerful. Honed Metal fits the bill for that!

I think Signature Equipment is also a pretty cool mod! Doesn't do anything for enchantments, but the more you use your gear and stick with it, the better it gets. It's somewhat decently balanced in my experience.
