Druids were the original Bretons and followed Jeff (Y'ffre/Jephre) without the strictures of the Green Pact i.e they ate plants. They later split into several different groups with the main ones being the Druids and the Wyrd. The Wyrd are female only covens and one of the most famous is the Glenmoril coven. The Druids remained worshippers of Jeff while the Wyrd worshipped the Earthbones or the Old Ways with many turning to Hircine and other Daedra much like the Forsworn. I was playing a Wyrd build last night using both the Triumvirate Shaman and Druid spells, following Kynareth (with Wintersun) until I got to Labrinthian and immediately followed the Old Ways. As for aesthetics I stuck to Forsworn armour for the most part, did some enchanting and was able to outdo the Armour of the Old Gods easily enough. The last thing she was doing was planning a trip to Solstheim to visit the Allmaker Stones - they sound awfully close to her own belief system.

If you're willing to sacrifice 1 or more enchantments on your existing gear, you can have recharge weapons which allows you to use charge tap effectively as another way to restore all 3 attributes (can be used when knocked down or swimming), which makes attribute upkeep more manageable.
@carn114
@carn114 Год назад
Sounds good. The other sacrifice, though, is that since you need an enchanted weapon in one hand, that's one less spell you can have equipped. Keeps those summons out longer though
@YourBoyNobody530
@YourBoyNobody530 Год назад
So, what I decided to take for wintersun is Z'en who is the elven version of Zenithar with some nature themes thrown in. What worship of Z'en lets you do is while praying potions you consume last twice as long, and they are X% better based on your favor with Z'en. The shrine blessing of Z'en makes your alteration spells cost 10% less, and the devotee power of Z'en lets you open an unlimited extra dimensional storage space giving you the ability to store all of your potions and alchemy ingredients. This lets your potions have insane durations making traveling around with potion effects active much easier, and it just synergies well with the build in general.
@carn114
@carn114 Год назад
Yeah, sounds like alot of stuff I was handling with spells and perks, but with the one-stop-shop of getting all of it with your chosen deity. I like it! That Hircine follower buff is crazy powerful too, though, and works in all forms. Interesting trade-off!
@YourBoyNobody530
@YourBoyNobody530 Год назад
@@carn114 I tend to prefer deities with devotee powers that don’t consume favor because it allows you to build favor super high. Also, it’s super easy to level up worship of Z’en as roasting food increases your favor. The sheer amount of consumable food items you can get just from dungeon crawling which you’d normally pass up is insane, but with worship of Z’en they now have a use of increasing your favor. I had a character get somewhere in the range of 300% favor before level 20 just by raiding some dungeons.
@carn114
@carn114 Год назад
I'd normally agree with you about having to spend favor. It gets *really* annoying especially when you're right around 100% and constantly getting that devotee boom and slip back to worshipper. However, Hircine is different, and probably unbalanced for a Daedra. You get a ton of favor by killing "strong enemies," which in my game was pretty constant, since I hit 200% almost instantly and stayed there. Maybe it's because I was playing on Legendary from the get-go, or maybe it was because I was already level 30-40ish when I switched from Kynareth to Hircine.
@YourBoyNobody530
@YourBoyNobody530 Год назад
@@carn114 Makes sense you also just get favor by being a werewolf which is good.
@zephyr835

Z'en is a cool option, and could dovetail with joining the Thieves Guild for another aspect of the character. Syrabane would be a good fit, too, at least until the higher levels.

I had never really worked Horned Lord/Werewolf into my druid builds. But its interesting to see that you can and still get all the magey stuff. Might have to try it. I am also a fan of the old Throne of Nirn perk in Ordinator. Should be noted you have to get an older version of Ordinator for it now since it was removed for something else in the newest version. I always struggled with animal companions and moving in caves and stuff. Don't know why I never considered looking up a collision mod for that. So thanks for sharing that as well!

Start small, develop how you want to play, and then improve it incrementally :) GL with your next playthrough!

Well done! I really like the Druid's theme of collecting and scavenging: Druidcraft, Goodberries, Harrier for a Bosmer specifically, even feeding as a werewolf and managing magicka. Incidentally, I had been thinking of a Druid build as using either the Horned Lord form or lycanthropy, so it's cool to see an outlined use for both. I don't have the D&D knowledge, but using different transformations does remind me of the Shapeshifter specialization in Dragon Age.

If you remember, I once suggested a dragon-riding altmer dragonborn, using only magic and heavily using shouts on one of your build-craft streams, not too long ago. Bro, this video is fucking amazing. I've been following it but been going down a different path of being really strong with alchemy and have been using a bow with different poisons. I haven't really played too much of Skyrim and have been really wanting to get into it with heavy mods and this game's fucking sick. I didn't know if there was a heavily forested town, so I googled it, it said Falkreath... and damnnnn it's fucking beautiful with mods. I've been getting good with sniping my green highlighted hunt marks, feels so good. I used to play as a POS thief cat so going into this hunting/foresty/alchemy way of playing and sticking mostly to Falkreath is such a different way of playing from what I'm used to, I thought you could only make BANK by pickpocketing people, I didn't know you can make fat stacks hunting and what not lol. I eventually wanna get more into the Druidism but i'm taking this playthrough so as shit so I'm roleplaying my character starting out as a weak lil hunter (that can HIT THOSE) then eventually gonna go into college of winterhold and go further into druidism, but for now... I'm enjoying doing missives here and there and helping random people out and hunting

Hey! Great build! Just wondering what potions to create with this build with alchemy?
@carn114
@carn114 3 месяца назад
Thanks! Couple suggestions: -Fortify Magicka and Regen Magicka will keep you in Horned Lord form longer. -Fortify Stamina and Regen Magicka will synergize with Unarmed perks in Ordinator, keeping your punch damage topped off. If you pop these potions before entering either Horned Lord or Werewolf form, you'll guarantee yourself the highest damage output possible. -With Hunterborn, you can use Dragon Blood to cook up a potion (at a cooking station), that will increase movement speed, also synergizing with Unarmed damage through Ordinator's Unarmed subtree. -Goodberries will keep you going with both Health and Magicka in human form.

So, I would've gone unarmored for this build because it actually makes you harder to kill in my opinion and were using flesh spells anyways.
@carn114
@carn114 4 месяца назад
Yeah, I thought about it, but I needed Light Armor for the unarmed perks in Ordinator anyway. Coupled with some nice Stamina regen and movement speed buffs in that tree, all of which carry over to both Werewolf and Horned Lord forms, made it too strong to ignore, and ultimately why I chose Light Armor. The case can be made for unarmored, since the unarmed portion of the Light Armor tree doesn't require you to be wearing armor anyway. But you do miss out on the movement speed buff, which weakens damage output for all unarmed phases. Light Armor indirectly makes your offense and defense stronger in all forms, while unarmored flesh spell perks only apply to defense. And I don't believe you can reach the armor cap with flesh spells anyway, other than Dragonskin giving you a flat 80% damage reduction. Distorted Shape perk IS nice, though.

That's pretty fair, but it also does effect Fortify and Regen potions for those attributes too. Since those have a duration that can be extended by Lab Skeever, that makes those kinds of potions more useful post-tranformation. Very late to find this video, loved the build, but I do think all of the light armor perks stop working if they require you to be wearing light armor while you are a werewolf. This could have changed but the last time I played I had to use ocato's recital for armor spells so I wasn't at 0 armor.
@carn114
@carn114 2 дня назад
The unarmed perks in the Light Armor skill tree do not explicitly say "While wearing all light armor." This is by design in Ordinator to enable the robed/unarmored monk archetype. The unarmed perks on the left side of the Light Armor skill tree DO all work while transformed, regardless of if you're in human, werewolf, vampire lord, or Horned Lord forms. There are plenty of threads about it in the EnaiRim subreddit if you ever want to take a look. All the footage in this build guide was taken on Legendary difficulty, and I'm mowing through high-level enemies in werewolf and horned lord form. I also have a video using the same concepts to wipe out Kaarstag in a couple hits in werewolf form: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cnUYGeVcJKI.htmlsi=0F7PT83qKUrwN2xb And a full werewolf build guide about it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GWq43WBXcqY.htmlsi=WYR6_PxIyjtSasWV Ocato's for armor is a very good call though!
@eshannumin

Yeah, I see the unarmed perks work just fine. I was thinking about having armor in the form. I know the force of nature form keeps armor. I thought the unarmed part needed a 2 piece or more as well. Got that wrong. I had that all switched up. Ty for pointing that out.
