I am Gok, I (try) to make high quality, fun, cinematic, somewhat informative videos about cars for entertainment purposes. I need money to buy a Porsche, so if you watch my videos that might happen. Please Subscribe, Like & Share
I've got my hybrid car now . Question: i have is i drive alot around town and motorways on fridays .What should i drive in for both occasions? ie: Eco for town and my sense for motorways? What do you think please 😊
When in doubt always keep it in eco! That’s likely to be the default program. Motorway driving will bring its own efficiently by sitting in the highest gear and cruising without constant start stop :)
Such an awesome video. I just got the Defender 110 P400 here in the US. We do not have Diesel version here. I also have passion for travelling, but most of it is overlanding, places only 4x4 dare to conquer and with that in mind as you said memories with my friends and family.
Oh very new. Congratulations on the new purchase then! Once you put another 10-20k miles on it I would love to know what it’s been like on reliability etc
My numbers came up so I'm taking that Dakar first Gok. OK I've signed up to your newsletter and hopefully will win one of the Land Rover cars.. Nice to see your channel expanding. Been watching since yours days at Mercedes to present. Top job 👍
I have its smaller brother - a 2023 Renault Captur hybrid in the same Oyster grey/Black roof, although it uses a different engine/battery setup. Although I’m not looking to upgrade just yet, this would be a worthy replacement with the latest technology. Great video by the way!!
I've just ordered an Esprit Alpine 145 e-tech this week in The Netherlands. The one I ordered will come with a Bose audio system. Is this not available in the UK?
Yes you forgot to mention the extensive voice control I actually use it! In Mexico I bought for $650k man or about $30,000 usd before taxes. Best value ever! Not a fan of the seats but easily rectified with a cushion. Haven’t heard music at slow speeds I’m gonna go check that
The transmission is a sophisticated 4 speed which engages without a clutch as a motor deals with synchronising the changes. No reverse gear as that is electric only. So like the Yaris (which uses a sun/planet system with 2 motors) there are no clutches etc to wear out so should be reliable long term
Very nice video. I keep saying but the production value is so awesome recently. Not like it was not always great but recently another level. Content was awesome too
I wonder if the roof tent has a better down force coefficient then the boot spoiler mod on the clio 🤔. Amazing video mate loved your pov on it and the driving shots on the twisty roads were just butter 🤤
just bough myself an AMG premium line of this beastly vehicle ! after having test driven an amg line I've immediately decided to sell my tesla m3p - the comfort is incomparable for same amount of monies pretty much. fyi - driving m3p I'm mostly in sport mode speeding 0 - whatever limit on the road is as it's so addictive - that is when battery consumption ratio is easily up to 1:3-5 - meaning for 1 mile battery consumes 3-5 miles lol - driving calm is also super chill and consumes like 1:1.4ish, meaning for every mile battery consumes like 1.4 miles - so ratio is not 1:1 however you look at it, meaning if range is 300m, you'll actually get like 250 out of it if you drive varied but mainly calmly - bumps also feel like suspension is gonna get hurt overtime. in the meanwhile eqc is leagues ahead comfort wise - bumps you don't even feel and if you do it's quite enjoyable - since eqc is a car you will mostly drive calmly and especially if you use eco mode the ratio of battery might be 1:1.2ish in which case it might result in actually similar mileage as tesla tbh - we'll see when I pick it up tomorrow can't wait ooooo
Seal looks like a nice car, especially for that money, but unfortunately it doesn't excites me in the way it should. I was a huge fan of EV-s in the past and waited for battery and infrastructure improvements last 5-6 years (don't have ability to charge at my apartment building). Now I really need a new car and can't wait any more for improvements to come. I still hear along entire video words like "range", "current state of charge", "calculating" etc. I really don't want that in my life and I don't ever want to switch to a "boring style of driving" like you did at 11:55. So, I decided to go with diesel and wait another 10 years for new breakthroughs in EV world. 1000 + km of range within a minute in any village with a plenty of torque and no extra weight is a minimum for me.
Yes it has DAB MW and FM with a lot of preset locations which can be cycled with the little control stalk he showed to the right of the steering wheel.
Got to drive one of these flat out on a track last week at the Porsche Experience. What a car! What surprised me the most is how easy it is to drive at the limits. Much more forgiving than my S2000.
