How does the boat do when dropping anchor in rolly, fast water? I have taken water over the stern of my Clacka after dropping the anchor in fast water.....and it is WAY higher in the rear than the East Cape.
Every market always needs a better thing. It’s called capitalism. And it’s our friend. If their design doesn’t work for some people, some people won’t buy it. But if it does, it will. Key is you and I don’t have to worry. The market will decide. 😊
What happens with the net on the waist pack when you want to spin it around? Do you have to take the best off every time you want to spin the waist pack to the front? What and the same question but for the sling? Will the net stay in when you spin it around?
You should come to Minnesota, hook up with Robert Hawkins from Bob Mitchell’s fly shop (maybe a musky on the fly?) and Hank Shaw for the foraging/cooking. Would love to see what you would get into with those guys…
This show gives Meat Eater a run for it's money. You guys make the best shit in the biz. And it was AWESOME seeing a Tom Rosenbauer cameo. He is the nicest dude ever.
Chef Ranga what another awesome video! The fishing and your cooking are truly inspiring; keep ‘em coming my man!!!!! Thank you to again to the production crew ❤
Triggered? lol The only color that matters in fishing is fly selection grow up! Please don’t make me make a rude carp comment! And if you don’t know what I’m talking about, you’re obviously just an import.
@@andrewwebster13 I’m not white, racism has happened to me on rivers and in the world in general. So yes color is a thing and racism is real bud. Ignoring a problem doesn’t solve it. Power to these dudes and anyone who’s supporting inclusivity in fly fishing and life in general. You don’t like it, don’t watch the vid bud!
I think representation is important especially for a hobby/sport where majority of non-white Americans think its a white person hobby especially in a city like NYC which is absolutely stupid. This is coming from an immigrant kid that loves fly fishing, I've heard it all and still here to show them that its for everyone to enjoy.
Fly fisherman worry about fish and bugs you’re playing identity politics inserting your ethnicity and skin tone into a hobby. People are beyond annoyed with this DEI crap. The more you bring up your physical differences the more divided we get. That was Obama’s plan all along. Stop being selfish it will make you a better fisherman.
Yeah, cause now that I have a non white guy in the boat, the fishing is gonna be so much different. People are sick of identity politics and it’s completely arrogant to insert your skin tone into everyone’s face. I don’t care where you’re from. I don’t care what you look like, Barack Obama does time to grow up we’re sick of hearing about it.
@@PaoloTheCreator_ why bring in race or skin color? Why does it matter so much to represent a race and show them you fly fish too? Who cares. Fly fishing is more cultural than it is a race thing. Just in general on a global scale not a lot of people do it. So to say it’s more of a white thing is ignorant. It’s just fishing guys. Let’s not ruin it by making it a racial agenda. It’s about being apart of the scenery. Not about who’s watching and having to represent a group.
@@TiredAmerican247 I mean I get your point. We’ve been fishing in my country for a long time. It’s definitely ignorant to say that fishing is only for a certain race. What I’m trying to say is they are not used to seeing people like me fishing and that’s fine with me. But that’s the point of representation, being comfortable doing these things and hoping to encourage other people like me that they can do it to. Tight lines sir!
Id book that guy in a second if I was in New York City. Brandon looks like a fun guy to fish with. Hope he comes and visits the Bighorn here in Montana.
I live in NYC and this episode was amazing. I take the subway to fly fish in Central Park for carp, fish for Stripers in Jamaica Bay, and go to Fish Tales market to buy fish every Saturday so this episode was like watching my own life. Keep up the good work man! Also what fly pattern were you using for those carp? I’m always in search of new techniques.
Man I literally came across your channel with your previous two flavor on the fly videos. The quality of these posts are TV worthy and deserve so many more views! Wishing you luck on the growth!
Damn. What a fantastic filming and production.I LOVE IT ❤ had no plans to watch the video but right after the few first shots i felt it worth watching just for visual pleasure at least😊 No speaking the story and everything else is also ON POINT!
BRAVO! I have now watched the first two episodes and MORE please!🙏. Simply outstanding guys. Love Chef Ranga’s enthusiasm for life, food, AND fly fishing. I have to say it’s refreshing to watch one of these where the Chef can actually cast and catch fish (no offense to any unnamed chefs out there 😅). Out of superlatives except to say this is one I can watch with my wife! Well done indeed.
Glad I found this channel. The cinematography is beautiful. What a way to combine Fly fishing, travel, culture and culinary all in one episode. You have something special here sir. Keep it up.
