Being from PA and living in Colorado now…I miss fall in PA. Everyone gets all crazy about the aspens changing…they have obviously never been to the east during fall.
Every time I am in Nashville, FLY SOUTH is a must stop. Those guys are great, and their tying room is unbelievable. I always stock up when there. May I also suggest making a stop at Peg Leg Porkers will do you right. But, fishing Tennessee is definitely on our bucket list. Thanks for the cool video, and I can't wait to see South Carolina.
Great video and Fly South is a great place. I live in PA but visit Nashville a lot since my son goes to college there and I always stop at Fly South and then across the street for Hattie B's.
It’s been pouring rain here in northeastern North Carolina for a week and still raining today. Wind is supposed to be gusting up to 30mph tomorrow. The Roanoke, the Chowan and the Meherrin rivers are muddy as hell and out of the banks. Thanks as always for the GREAT videos. You guys are saving the day! Keep on keeping on!!!
Nicely done. Ended it in “A Ride With Clyde” & “Tailer Trash Sessions” country. Hope y’all find your way back someday. Don’t be strangers, East Tennessee has a whole lot more to offer!
The Smokies has way more to offer than what you experienced. I can see why you were taken to where you fished. One of my favorite areas to fish. It’s a numbers game and not a size game. But there is better locations too.
Excellent video! My father and I have a tradition of stopping at the IGA right next to little river outfitters before we hit the water :D Cool seeing you all in the flyshop I visit weekly and kudos for pointing out how technical this area is to fish! Why didn't they take you on the left side of that trail to shoot for some native brook trout like you mentioned you wanted to earlier in the video?
