My name is Tobias Brenner, I am an artist with over 20 years+ experience in drawing and painting. Although I did a lot of computer based artwork mainly for publishers, I prefer to work the traditional way. My medium of choice is oils.
I formerly worked as a professional illustrator mainly in the fantasy/science-fiction field, doing cover art, interieur illustrations and card art. Now I wander in the realms of fine art enjoying to paint whatever subject matter I come across.
I will show you in detail how to use oils and acrylics to create a realistic looking painting.
Looking forward to lots of painting sessions with you :-)
I am regretting to have only watched your videos just now. You are amazing!!! Can you make one about a winter landscape in the mountains, river, canyon or a bit of it all? 😍
Thank you for all your tutorials, especially the water and beach scenes. I have been working on a seascape from a California beach where my cousin became engaged. I had never painted a seascape before and didn't know how to actually form the waves in a realistic way. Your slow and deliberate way of explaining each step helps a lot.
Love your work. I find myself coming back to your videos a lot…I’ve never used oils but, I’ll probably give it a go. Thanks for your hard work. One of the best I’ve seen! 😎🤙
Wie immer cool, ich mag die Bilder der Unterwasserwelt. Gefällt mir. Как всегда круто, мне нравятся картины подводного мира. Лайк! As always cool, I like the pictures of the underwater world. Like!
It`s been a while since I finished the painting...not sure how long exactly, but I would guess something around 6-8 hours? Maybe a bit less or more, not sure.
Your teaching video is the best. I have watched a lot, but your is the most simple to follow. By the way, one of your picture I have already successful painted by your another video. I am happy! Thank you for sharing your skills!!!❤❤❤
Herzlichen Dank für die tollen hervorragenden Bilder. Was für eine tolle Kunst und können .Ich bin so begeistert ❤vielen Dank das sie ihr können und wissen mit uns allen teilen.
I record what I speak without a script...which means, I would have to sit down, play back, write the whole thing down, correct it upload it and do this for all the 5 or 6 different major languages...impossible to do with a 75% job at a publishing house that ensures that I make ends meet...I am not yet a full time artist unfortunately...perhaps one day I can make this happen and then I can think about captions again :-)
This is a wonderful tutorial and you explain it so well. I do matte acrylic and gouache and really struggle with some of the so called tutorials that just paint and never explain what they are doing and the decisions they make. I am working on a sailboat painting with a water reflection that I have started over a few times because I don't like the reflection and this helped so much explain what I should do to improve and I will apply this information on my next attempt.
@@brennerfineart your welcome for the comment but youbdid the hard work brother so 👉🏼thank you 🙏🏼 I want to start my art again and with your expertise on show I will try again I tried oils acrylic and water Pens and pensile I found the hands were worse off than 30 years as a mechanic after a few years of painting So made my own pain Ocher being aboriginal it came easy and was more enjoyable Hence I’ll try again with some oils and acrylic I think 🙏🏼
110 likes so far, this beautiful masterpiece deserves at least a thousand times that. I mean Justin beber swears on a video and gets hundreds of thousands of likes So let's appreciate true talent when we see it....🏴
Absolutely amazing detailing. _I can almost hear, "Bum Buum Bum Buum" - we're gonna need a bigger boat" in the background, haha!_ Beautiful shark painting! 🎨🖼🦈
