At We're in the Rockies, our goal is to help you love your trip- the whole trip-including the planning process! Too often, planning is filled with the fear of not being prepared, wasting time on sights that aren't that great, or being stuck in crowds. Instead of having fun dreaming about your vacation, it's filled with anxiety.

Researching a vacation shouldn't be stressful. You need more than just some videos showing other people having fun on their trip. You need the details of how to make it happen for yourself. That's where we come in. Each location featured on our channel has multiple videos breaking down where to stay, how and when to visit the popular sights, maps of how to get around, interesting history, and other essential tips to make your vacation a success.

So sit back, relax, and watch our videos. We promise you will know exactly what to expect and be prepared for the experiences you want to have on your next vacation.

is the north fork road to Bowman relatively fine with a Subaru Crosstrek? I hear these horror stories about how you need a 4x4 vehicle back there

We are Maine residents & if you want to watch taffy being made & try some(so good) go to Boothbay, if you want to see Stephen King's home you have to go to Bangor. Then head to Bar Harbor for our beautiful Acadia National Park & plan on being there for a few days. Get a pass to go up on Cadillac Mountain, breathtaking. Thank you for all you do. Happy travels

Just got back to Omaha. We also really enjoyed the Estes Aerial Tramway. We took the same horse trail and my horse was Mongo. The gem lake trail north of the Stanley on Lumpy Ridge is a challenge. The Mustang Mountain roller coaster is also worth the money. We tasted the Moonshine in one of the shops.

I went 30 years ago it was beautiful. The women (me, my sister and my mom) in the group were hesitant about the road so we made the men drive over to the east side and enter that way which made us on the inside of the road for most of it.

While my spouse and I have visited the South Rim several times, we had never been to the North Rim until early June 2024. I was incredibly impressed with the North Rim. As your video perfectly describes, the North Rim is the better rim.

On the subject of "Sorry", be aware that not everyone in Canada is Canadian. Born and bred Canadians absorb the ethos from the first second of life. The process is: Person 1 says "Sorry" (eye contact). Person 2 says "Sorry" (eye contact). Person 1 says "No problem". And life goes on; people rub along together without taking offence.

Going to National Parks and traveling in general has become so unpleasant in major part due to Instagram and the attention seekers who want selfies. This has caused a trend in travel, which has clogged up most places with idiots who otherwise wouldn’t give a second thought about nature and they would be content just boozing at home and smoking cigarettes on their front porch. Another major factor is the "Buy Now , Pay Later" vacation options. Now brokies are traveling everywhere because they don’t have to actually have any money to do it. Before you actually had to earn good and take a well-deserved vacation (break from working) now broke people are using the buy now pay later) that is why not only are things crowded, you get that low class vibe and people who are quick to fight and get angry everywhere. A lot of people lately have noticed the shift in attitudes everywhere and it’s due to this.

Just did the drive around 12000 ft in the main loop and it is scary! Loved every minute of it, but beware if you are afraid of heights have a partner drive. It could be dangerous if you lost control on the sections without gaurdrails or block walls.
