Same error ch 05 but it works during day time for morethan 2hours but in evening and night it runs only for few minutes then shows ch05 error What to do? Can share ur phno or address if you are technician thanks
Greetings Let me share the most terrible experience, I had the same issue with one of the AC unit , it works well daytime at night error ch05 I decided to detach the outdoor cover I found a thousands ants was sticking on the units circuit. Try to check that Immediately after the error occurs. Meanwhile check your voltage and frequency too. I'm in south Sudan I don't think so can see you physically.
Hi dear, We have a Cummins generator, it trips on overspeed alarm, what could be the cause? Fuel SOV relay is okay, starter is okay, we could not figure out where is the problem.
@@northjayhoon9789 every time when we start the gen set trip on over speed, over speed setpoint is 1650, speed probe is healthy, engine trips during cranking
Thank you for your info, Your Genset RPM should be 1500, Your generator voltage 230 volts and 50Hz at 1500 RPM If you don't have any issue with fuel line and injection pump, your engine RPM should remain the same rpm ,even after loading In this case adjust the engine RPM at 1550 and then load the genset see if the engine RPM remain at 1500 if so! your problem solved.
Sir i have question Kindly help me to crack of my question. I am an Electrical Engineer and working on Caterpillar generator G3520H model, One day there was a fault on it about *kw sensor* so I could not troubleshoot, so what could be the fault? Where should troubleshooting be done?
Greetings Thank you for your inquiries I'm wondering if you could tell me about your Genset controller First I need to know about Genset controller and then we need to finde the event code , after that I can tell you what problem you have with your generator.
Kw fault code can be displayed on generator overview It tells us the generator was overloaded Calculate the current on generator overview parameters when it is fully loaded and then check the maximum current shown at your Genset ,if it is loaded 100% which mean you need to reduce the load It should not be load more than 80%
Hello sir I have her a Perkins diesel generator. As I can see there are two Magnetic Pick-Up mounted in the unit. The Injection Pump has a logic control governor (LCG) and the generator is also controlled remotely which is used for synchronizing to other generator. My question is why there are two MPU installed?
Greetings! Thank you for your enquiries. You got 2 MPU , one of the sensor is responsible for your starter motor while you cranking the engine, as soon as the engine starts the sensor sends the signal to the GSC the GSC cuts the power on starter motors relay meanwhile the starter motor disengage. The second MPU is monitoring the engine speed when you loading the generator the RPM drops and the GSC (Genset Controller) accelerate the engine through the LCG. However some engines have only one MPU but twin are more reliable.
Check your battery voltage make sure it is fully charged otherwise you have problem either with starter motors solenoid or relay please click on this link watch this video it could solve your problems. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W8UOMo2-gVE.htmlsi=nSVv097Oid6tu8Uj
The tutorial is well explained. Can you please do a tutorial where you can make full connection from the gen controller and the entire circuit step by step with all components involved in the circuit.
Hello my dear friend, I have a problem with a Caterpillar C18 generator, 500 kilowatts. After the generator is started without load, there is a problem with the speed and voltage stabilizing together, with a humming sound occurring in the generator. It is unstable. Please help me. Many thanks and respect to you.
Greetings Thank you for your enquiry! Can you tell me about RPM and the voltage in your country? If the voltage is 110 v 60Hz the RPM should be 1800 for 220 v 50Hz the RPM should be 1500. First make sure stabilize your engine speed , either there is problem with your fuel line or the injectors are bad . 01 Check the fuel line and the pump pressure . 02 inspect the injectors . If they are all ok Do a compression test make sure you don't have any problem with your engine after inspection when you got all ok the engine speed stabilized , check the voltage if still the voltage fluctuating please check the AVR.
Thank you for your enquiry! If your generator's controller indicates/ warning high battery alarm, definitely you need to check DC alternator . An alternator's output is controlled by an integrated voltage regulator, which is designed to prevent overcharge. You may have a faulty voltage regulator and it does over charge your battery.
OMG. Thankyou for your video!!! I saved 150 dollars cuz if it. I could easily take apart and clean my machine as i followed you. It was full of mold. I could clean it totally, and now i can enjoy it to the fullest. 😊😊 Thanks for your work.
Greetings If you have already check the wires : L N 3c Ground The next step is to check all components at the PCB in the outdoor unit if everything looks good at the outdoor next check the PCB board at the indoor units.
Thanks sir 🔧,I had already checked that filter and I think the problem is with the lift pump, a few months ago the tank was contaminated, the injection pump and injectors were serviced but nothing has been done to the lift pump
Hello, I am having the same problem with a generator similar to the one you are calibrating the sensor, it has a new sensor, calibrated, and the failure continues, loss of signal or erratic speed sensor, what could be happening there if the problem remains the same
Greetings If you have replaced the sensor and still have the same problem please check those two wires which connected to the sensor either there is loose connection or one of the wire has been corroded. Note:for loose connection you need the inspect the sensor connector If there is loose connection engine vibrations will cause loose the signal.
@@northjayhoon9789 Hello, thank you for your information, I replaced the harness by making a new one other than the one it came with and it continues to present the problem, I believe that the problem is caused by the fuel, I notice that the engine slows down as the load of each section of the hotel where it is installed. Sometimes you have to turn it on up to 3 times for it to start.
My engine has similar problem, unexpected shutdown! But when i restart the engine it starts normal. However only during the change in load it shut downs! Wht it could be ? I already inspected fuel side. Thank you.
Greetings Unexpected shutdown is an electrical problem, it happens if there is loose connection where the negatives circuits are grounded at the engine, or there is power interruption happens with circuit which is supplying power to the fuel cut solenoid .
Greetings First start overspeed means there is a problem with the fuel line The fuel from filter housing returns back to the fuel tank after some hours , while the generator is standby In this situation before you start the engine please run the prime pump for two minutes and start the engine , if the engine did not overspeed which mean the fuel line gets empty when it is standby for two or three hours Note: if your generator doesn't have an electric fuel prime pump Pump it manually.
Sir, can I ask for a wiring diagram of the same unit. Our unit at site is P200-2. We have a problem with our fuel solinoid voltage supplies.no voltage showing whilst starting and engine won't start. Thank you sir
hi there..same issue for my ac as well.. all wires are fine... ac works for few mins, and then ch 5 erro comes up.. sometimes ac works without any issues, but then the next day, sane error pops up.. what couls be the issue? and today its been 3 days i havent used the ac..its not starting at all
Greetings Check the input circuits at the indoor PCB make sure they are ok you may have a blown fuse once you figure out with the current problem that you mentioned your AC is off at all not starting After you are able to run the unit connect a single wire to the 3c circuit in indoor and the other end of wire should reach to the outdoor connect it to the 3c circuit of outdoor this wire should be isolated from the rest of wire Run the AC unit and wait 20 mins if the erro comes back then you need to check the PCB board at the outdoor there are so many component you have to check sometimes the PCB itself goes bad
Hi, you found the problem yet? I have the exactly issue like you. I haven't checked the wire yet. Ch05 shown up occasional after 30 min or so. After I turned off everything for any hour or so, it will be back to normal, depending on luck.
