Use the right bearing remover because standard internal jaw pullers only work some of the time. I found out the hard way and had to find EVERY crumb of bearing race and every roller to make sure the engine was clean of debris. HD did the INA nonsense twice, first with Evo big twins then with the Twinkies. It was a knowing choice to use marginal parts.
Drawn Cup needle bearings - both INA and Torrington are brand names. Originally, INA was German, while Torrington was originally “Domestic.” The INA bearing has a *cage,* while the Torrington is *full complement.* Full complement bearings can handle greater loads, but tend to complain if they’re turned too fast.
What's the difference between de-catted stock OEM pipes and after-market header pipes? I de-catted the right stock header on my 2021 RGS and was wondering if there is any added benefit to buying a set of after-market open headers vs running my de-catted stock pipes with slip-ons.

Wished I had bought my new PV3 from Fuel Moto. I can't get a tune from Dynojet for my M8 107 with V&H Pwr Duals, 4.5" exhaust, SE Hi-Flow AC, and S&S 475C Cam. Anyone have a DST file for such a tune that has same cam ans similar setup they'd want to share?
😮Hey man, I'm a first timer working on a twin cam. My front inner cam bearing exploded while riding. I'm missing almost every part of the bearing. Only a bit of outer cage. No peices in oil filter. I gotta tear it down huh?
Sorry to hear that! You definitely have to tear it down but in your case since you wasn't just trying to remove it and the bearing broke, you may need to pull the oil tank and flush it as well. You have to find all the pieces. 😩
After seeing this, I would like to try them in my Freedom radius pipes on my 107 Slim. Already have the SE tuner with the Freedom pipes and K&N filter. Goes well as it is but just dropped bike off to get the S&S465 cam.

it actually turns out that the lightning elite is a knockoff of the real lightning made in Taiwan which is the one you have with the silver pocket clip. the original lightning is so much better then the lightning elite. not all lightnings are created equal

I ripped out vance and hines baffles and installed big city thunder monster baffles yesterday. Sounds a lot better. Those of you that want to rip out factory baffles the top is a bitch get a piece of metal bend the end shove it in hook on to it and pound the pipe with a rubber mallet. If anyone decides they want to install BCT monsters hit me up I'll help.
Ummm did you say Springer front end and it's gonna be cool ????????? Umm sorry bro maybe 40 yrs ago a springer on a sportster would have been considered cool but today .. NOT.. Why just go with a 3 degree rake with a 4 inch over and some risers and drag bars now that would look cool .. and still ride half way decent ...
