@@buchanpeter dps is low, but burst damage is nice with omniskys. And I dont need to rearm all the time. Deadbolts are OP but with only 900 m/s speed i need to be very close to target.
6 Size 2 weapons and a pretty good maneuverability. Don’t forget it’s a flying missile rack. Lol it’s as thin as paper when you get shot but it can deal a ton of damage. Wish it was 800k like it use to be instead of 1.9 mil. 🙄
I expressed myself a bit wrong. I record on YT, among other things, to learn to speak English and in practice my vocabulary is still very poor. Pisces may not have high top speeds, but it has decent acceleration, it is a small target, relatively maneuverable, and in my opinion, it handles combat better than Aurora and Mustang, especially in the atmosphere.
I personally like flying the Reliant class ship. I have the Kore which is the cargo variant. It has no berth or other amenities, but can haul a bit of cargo.
For long time Kore was my starter. I upgraded my Mustang to Cutter, but back in the day Cutter was very buggy, so I upgraded it to Kore, and it was lot of fun to fly this ship, especially She can fit STV in cargo bay.
i would like to see you live on the origin 600i exploration with a ursa medivac in the hanger for 3 days enjoy please make a video regarding it RULES : only bed logging not logging off at a station no loosing the ship or you have to start again haha get yourself some 1 scu boxes aswell for storage 🫡
Luxury "nomad challenge" I understand. That would be hard, because I hate origin ships. I would rather do that in cutter rambler without respawn option.
Challenge: This is SPARTA! minimum equipment bare bones survival. I just started playing so watching this series and maybe something like the above suggested would be fun for me to see how to play by creating my own adventures. Good luck thank you for the fun videos!
I ended up purchasing 14 of these Mules in game for all my ships with a hold in them. Very cheap and useful little critters. My ship hangar will clearly need 4 of them right off the bat along with future cargo bed carriers. Sadly, my Caterpillars still lack lift gates as originally planned in the game and the tractor station is at a poor angle to see how cargo fits inside the holds. Good thing I plan on converting any Caterpillar into a flying factory or machine shop once factory modules are available for it.
Challenge idea: Fill a prospector with only Quantainium. Rules: Can't split any rock without Quant. Can't gather any rock with less that 20% Quant, no matter how lucrative. Must completely fill (32 SCU) the Prospector Must not explode and put it all to refine. CAN find multiple rocks before starting to split and gather. Now let's see if I'm lucky in this giveaway, never won any in my life XD
I think with the advent of the larger scu boxes the value of the mule moving 1scu boxes is lost. It would be nice if the Mule were upgraded to have a tractor so I can move larger boxes around on the ground. I'm not aware of a ground vehicle with a tractor beam.
Definetly tractor variant is my personal dream, but the ability to quickly transport even such a small box inside the distribution center and take some loot with You is already something.
I understand why some people think so, that's why I show in my films, among others: how to have fun in the game without spending real money (not counting the basic package with access to the game).
you say that but the argo tractor could be spawned parked outside the hanger LP and your cargo ship called and you clould angle your Argo between the Freight and ship cargo bay and just drag and drop
@@cheetoishim If I remember correctly, as a junior security contractor in Hurston and Microtech, you started getting contracts in distribution centers.
No. With physicalized inventory and no local inventories at all, this little vehicle become very handy to everyone who like FPS contracts and looting stuff in distribution centers and bigger settlements.
Mule was useful already, for example to transport You and loot box to hostile bunkers, but in 3.24 will be even more useful. I hope one day we got other variant. Maybe with flatbed for 2 scu box, or Tractor variant.
Maybe juste trying to buy a certain ship like a Caterpillar or somthing like that just by doing cargo plus in the 3.24 there will be some cargo mission might be cool :)
I have a few challenge ideas... 1: set GrimHex as your regen point, get a level 5 crime stat, and see how long you can survive traveling from planet to planet. 2: Using your C8R, see how long it takes you to rescue at least 100 players that send out medical beacons. 3: using either the Drake Herald or the 85x, see how long you can survive by smuggling criminals away from bounty hunters and get them to GrimHex like a getaway driver lol. Any of those could be fun, but the one I would like to see most is option number 3.
My sense of progress at the moment is to play continuously without crashing to desktop. CIG\RSI is keeping extremely silent regarding the problems facing a minority of players from CryEngine malfunction...
A Challenge I would like to see is be a secret Santa by stowing away on a ship then leaving items onboard for the player. But try not to ever get discovered. I do like how you and others challenge themselves to survive with the bare minimum to start. FYI: in game I go by "Boba-Jett"
Despite of having several ships (I buyed in game Cutlass black, cutlass Red, reliant tana, and now also Pisces rescue) I still enjoy the most "zero to hero" type of gameplay. Imho starting with very good ship like cutlass or constelation will spoil this enjoyment and sense of progression.
Would love to see a series of nomad videos where you don't buy it upgrade anything from stations. You have to find everything in the verse scavaging. So no usc purchasing allowed. Everything from water, food, weapons and ship components have to be found or taken from other sources.

fir me c1 totally scks at hrt, 1.-poor shield. 2.-very big and poor maneuvr. 3.- every encounter i loose my nose turrets in less then 10 sec. Also you need to use decoupled when fighting will help with rammer ai
For a long time I had hoped that the C1 would prove to be a good competitor to the Cutlas, but overall I was disappointed. The only thing it can do better is carry cargo. The only entrance to the ship is a ramp at the back, the ship is so large that it barely fits in the hangar, it is difficult to park it close to the entrances to the bunker or the logistics center, it is slower than the Cutlass, it has worse maneuverability, slightly more HP does not give anything due to its huge size, the interior is uninteresting, it's just a long corridor, it's not quick to use because it has a lot of doors on the way to the pilot's cabin, and the weapon rack doesn't work. It's a real shame because I had high hopes for this ship. In general, I see a tendency in Star Citizen that if we have a certain class of ships, there is always one right choice and the rest are significantly behind the leader. The best functional starter is Avenger Titan, there is no competition for it, the best cargo ship is C2, currently everything else is too far behind, the best fighter F7a mk2, the best interceptor: Buccaneer, there is also no competition. For VHRT's and ERT's the best option is Corsair, Constellation series, the only thing it does better is to carry cargo, but the firepower and visibility are much worse than in the case of Corsair. We have plenty of ships, but if someone wants to build their fleet based on actual functionality, we are left with little choice.
I started with 10 k and I was not a le to use any of my ships, but i can rent other ships and eventually buy my own. Right now i Have my own pisces, any other ships i use are rented.
I started with the Aurora and I liked it but what bothered me was quickly realising that all of the back of the ship is useless, it’s just steel. Yes you can fit 3scu containers underneath, but: a. You need a multi tool and a tractor beam attachment b. it’s not practical, they often bugs out and it requires time to align and fit them c. they disappear all the time, requiring to waste money a lot and as a new player is a bad thing Other than that the bed often bugs out. Oh and you cannot save the lodout with “salvaged” guns from destroyed ships (I guess this is valid for all ships though). Too bad, I loved the concept, also the cockpit is great, way better and more usable even than the titan, with more and better placed multifunctional panels.
This ship need general update, like lot of other ships. But imho starters need to be prioritized. At least making this 500 - 600 k aUEC for better ship isn't that bad.
