Thanks for your video. I’m gonna take lv2 on November, 2024. I will come back here to share the result with you guys! If you are dedicating for CFA, Good luck everyone!🎉
Your video is absolutely amazing and super useful. You deserve more views and thumbs up. I subscribed to your channel as I found this video extremely helpful and I am very thankful.
I used the Kaplan Schweser materials for level 1 and passed first try. So I tried them again for level 2 and they totally let me down. Will not make that mistake again and will stick to the actual CFA manual as you suggest.
Good luck! There's a lot of material to learn in Level 2. The readings in the actual CFA materials might be longer than necessary, but the practice problems in there are very helpful.
From my earliest years until I turned 18, I grappled with self-doubt and academic challenges. Despite my best efforts, subjects like math, English, and physics remained elusive to me throughout my school years. Yet, amidst these struggles, a greater trial awaited: from ages 10 to 17, I underwent the taxing ordeal of dialysis. However, within the depths of adversity, I nurtured a flicker of hope and ambition. At 17, a life-changing kidney transplant marked a turning point in my journey, infusing me with renewed determination and a sense of purpose. But the road to success was far from smooth. In the corridors of academia, I encountered the hurtful words of bullies and the isolating silence of indifference. Yet, I refused to be defined by my setbacks. Instead, I transformed them into stepping stones, each hurdle propelling me closer to my dreams. Today, as I reflect on the trials I've overcome, I am filled with gratitude for the resilience that sustained me. With unwavering support from loved ones, I navigated the darkest of nights, emerging stronger and more determined than ever. My journey, though marked by challenges, is a testament to the power of perseverance and the resilience of the human spirit. And as I set my sights on a career in finance, particularly in pursuing my dream of becoming a CFA, I do so with a heart full of hope and a steadfast belief in the boundless possibilities that lie ahead.
You are just trying to monetize your own brand, portraying yourself as the cfa specialist who survived the challenge, you’re not covering the true reasons why CFA is useless. A typical American.
I have to do L1 and L2 twice to pass....L3 looks like a diff ball game...plus I am 37 this yr......I'll think about it over the weekend on when to take
I'm into market trading(Equity F/O) and thinking about perusing CFA... will it benefit me or should i try something else ? All I'm wishing is for to learn the depth of the market ...Hoping for your answer...
The CFA Program will help you understand the theories behind how different financial assets are valued based on fundamentals. I'd say level one covers everything you'd find in an undergraduate finance degree, level 2 is like a masters in finance, and level 3 is about wealth management / asset allocation / financial planning. It's a structured program to learn about all kinds of investments. It should help with trading, but if you're looking at a specific career path, I'd ask people in those roles if they personally think it's worth the work. The program does take a lot of time and mental energy.
@@JoeMaule Thank you for the quick reply Surely your explanation helped me...I guess I'll go with it alongside... because it's very much what I'm looking for...😊
I am a college grad and planning to get CFA 1. I am a finance major and I want to land an entry level analyst job. Will CFA 1 necessary or goof to have? What can I do in addition or other than that?
@@user-sd4ke9ob5i chartered investment manager, a csi course for portfolio management, not really back office analyst type course but gives you discrtionary rights after 4 years, where you from brother?
In the job market, it's a classical supply / demand situation. The Wall street top employers like Goldman Sachs have much more applicants than open positions, and no matter what the educational background, many applicants will be rejected. Sad but true.
you’re so inspirational. I’m not good at listening english too much but I can understand almost thing u mentioned in the video and watch a series of ur videos❤
As an introvert I would choose accounting. It is easier to me work on my own and work with fact based data rather than make decisions. Without overthinking. Do your calculations, report them and have a rest. Yeah, thats for me. Thank you for really helpful video
would you mind i ask a quick question, for questions to justify why 1 out of 3 statements are correct, do we need to explain why other 2 statements are wrong?
Hi Joe, Thanks for this video. Can you help me with the grading rubrics which you have mentioned in the video. Also, some of the previous questions which CFA Institute has shared with everyone. Can I find these 2 documents on the study portal or the institute website.
I have my exam after 6-7 weeks. I have 300 online questions left to do and 6 mocks. I already did 1 mock and scored 36% on it. I've never gotten such low score on any mock I've done from previous levels. Im finding myself completely lost on how to answer the short answer questions. I don't know what to do anymore. I've really lost motivation. The short answers questions are really tricky. I find myself only able to solve and review on avg. 20 questions a day. Those are mixed short answer and essay. I dont have time anymore and I'm really panicking. Please give me tips and advise on what to do.
Bro really just said “your ancestors couldn’t have interest on their bank accounts because bank accounts didn’t exist yet” didn’t need a short to tell me that 💀
There about to try and make a cashless society... dont fall for it.. they want to control thr amout of money you spend.. so they can keep it.. rise against it protest
Hi Joe, I unfortunately did not pass my May 2023 Level II exam (barely touching the MPS). Now registered for November 2023, I remember most of the material, should I go over the whole material again or just do a slight review of weak points and the rest is rigorous practice? Thanks for the video!
For the sections you had the toughest time with last time, a full review of the material could help. For sections you know really well, I'd focus on problems to keep your knowledge fresh. If you run into problems you aren't as familiar with, review the material from that section. It's an iterative process based on where you're at personally with each topic. Good luck!
Congrats on completing the program! For Level 3, how many months did you take to prepare? And about how many hours a day? I know the CFAI info can really be a whole lot so I'm curious how long it took you
