Oh hi! I'm Daniel (He/They), and this is my RU-vid channel! I focus on making (hopefully!) thoughtful and entertaining videos about my favorite video games, TV, and other media (though I'll also occasionally post some gameplay videos, too)! So, if you like listening to some nonbinary bisexual blue-haired nerd yammer on for way too long about fictional stuff that he likes, then...hey, jackpot, right?

I honestly never saw the parreles to yubel and jesse!!!! DUDE!!!!! That was such an awesome comparison! Also yeah Jesse and Jaden made me realize I loved guy/guy relationships and that I was bi myself later down the road. You can never convince me otherwise that that was meant to be platonic. At least not on jessies part (jessie always seemed more aware of his feelings towards others then Jaden was). And jaden went to hell and back for the man, he loves him, even if he himself doesn't fully understand it. Overall Amazing video! I love seeing people speculate on Jadens character, and yubels too! Keep making awesome content!
Ahh this gives me so much nostalgia, I missed your pasta readings The porygon voice makes it even better too like omg?? I love the immersion a whole lot, I can’t wait to see the rest of October’s uploads!!
@@springystarscout Thank you so much! That really means a lot 😊 And yeah, I really am glad that people like the stuff I did with the voice on this one, I figured it'd fit with the narrator being a Porygon, haha
@@hongjoongsfluffyhat Thank you! I figured that'd be a cool idea to distinguish the narration for this from the way I usually do it, since this is meant to be from the POV of a digital/computerized entity.
I think it's proven or at least implied that he wasn't actually capable of love. He was jelaous of his younger stepbrother not because he received more love from their parents, but because Adrian wanted all the goods and power. He was just a materialist and didn't really care about anyone, and was happy just sitting on Yubel's throne all by himself without anyone on his side. He always had a hidden agenda and zero emotions towards anyone. And people were just a resource for him to gain glory. They were all the same to him.
I'll be honest tho, I think the "fleshy sounds" had too much squishing and not enough crunching/snapping. But otherwise, I liked it! You have a great narration voice that you don't hafta try to be edgy.
@@RisuRazyeon Thank you! Yeah, that's fair about the flesh sounds I used -- it's hard finding one that would actually kinda fit considering this is all supposed to be taking place on a digital plane, haha.
I am happy to see your uploads again not to mention these are really great I can't wait to see what's next for this month if it's perfectly with your vibe
Hey everyone, and welcome to this first upload for Creepytober 2024! I hope everyone enjoys this year's batch of narrations. As always, be sure to check the description for any information about music I used, fanart used (if any, though it's not really applicable in this case), and the link to where I found the original work! As I stated in my Community Tab post about this, we're back in full force this year, with a Creepytober upload EVERY THURSDAY THIS MONTH, all the way through to Halloween! I hope everyone's October is off to a good start! Also, you don't wanna be scared AND dehydrated, so DRINK WATER
Yubel's sex is very easy to identify if you check the original material. Yubel is referred by others as male or female, however, Yubel speaks utilizing the ''boku'' pronoun which goes to males. In the japanese voice acting the male and female voices alternate and the female voice is essentially used talking to or about Judai (Jaden), which is just a softening of the voice. The reality of Yubel is a lack a of either/or sex, whatever you call her is just a simplification for human understanding and ease of communication, Yubel would follow the same classification of sexuality as a bacteria -- aka, doesn't have one, but you'd refer with male/female identifiers for ease of communication (which is done in most languages but english, example, bacteria utilizes female pronouns in portuguese simply for linguistic value)
Can't wait for this year's Creepytober!! Fun to see that theres Pokepastas of a different flavor than "MY GAME CARTRIDGE IS HAUNTED??" I wonder why it's always cartridge games and never disc games. Maybe bc the compact disc is too slippery for haunted to get inside? 🤔
@@hongjoongsfluffyhat Yeah, I always do like getting to check out in-universe horror rather than the typical haunted game cart nonsense, so I think folks will like a lot of what I've got on tap this year 😁
I honestly believe that he chose to sacrifice Echo was because Adrian could have seen her as a liability but how ironic is that had Adrian not sacrificed echo he could have won
UPDATE 9/19/24: Hey, everyone! I wanted to make a little comment to mark the one-year anniversary of this video's upload, but, uh, I kinda missed it by a couple weeks (it was on September 5th), haha. Oh well, it's still the anniversary MONTH, so hey, thanks for getting this video to nearly 43,000 views in the year it's been up! I really appreciate the continued support on my Yu-Gi-Oh based yapping
My favorite archetype is infernoids. Kinda for a similar reason you like darklords. The duel terminal lore is rather weird and in it infernoids are seen like the biggest threat yet. But aome say they whete made by the gods which doesnt make sense. In some normal mornsters like the qli its mentioned they are like a virus to life , anti life of some sort. I like to think this machines where made eons ago by a now lost civilization in an attempt to replicate gods themselves at the image of sophia and tierra (and maybe fucking a-vida if we ever get a connection on how that ended in the world legacy lore) but this creations where to much , festering on human souls. Machines overcoming life itself to feed off of souls and destroy everything in its path. Sophia was like “wowowowowowo ….wtf” from here idk much of the specific dt lore but i know sophia herself didnt seal the noids because they had the equal opposite power of tierra by her side. I just love the concept of humas making something to rival god and it going rouge on both
@@cottonuwu3167 Oh yeah, for sure, the whole "Playing God and having it blow up in your face" thing is definitely one of my favorite tropes. It's part of the same reason I like Type:Null/Silvally from Pokémon so much, it's basically the result of the exact same kind of hubris.
But its a disturbing implication. The reason she hasn't passed the test is because she sees her pokemon as tools not friends. She doesn't actually love her pokemon like Lance and you the player.
Really cool video, alwalys loved darklords🤙🏻❤ My fav archtype is dreammirror, the cards are just so sexy honestly and their playstyle is rly unique and fun, and even now with fiendsmith they have become stronger and more consistent having a blast playing them rn😎
@@rihan5426 Thank you! 😁 Oooh, Dream Mirror's a fun choice! I wanted to pick them up at one point in Master Duel, but I never got around to learning them, haha
Season 2 was vastly inferior to season 1. The series should have a reboot or novelization. It seems like the people of Paradigm couldn't decide whether they were afraid to know what happened 40 years ago or simply didn't care. Here's what the reboot (or novelization) should change: 1) A reboot should put the people squarely in the fear camp. It doesn't make sense that people wouldn't care, except to the extent that the Paradigm Corporation can create a false impression of people not caring, and thus defeatism among people who want to know the truth. The plot point that only people born outside Paradigm City care about the past should be abandoned, or presented as a form of false propaganda by the Paradigm Corporation. 2) Schwarzwald's disfigurement should have been caused by Paradigm leadership after he discovered and reported to Paradigm Press the existence of a buried megadeus underneath the subway. Him going rogue after that makes more sense. 3) Schwarzwald's leaflets should fall just before Roger gets his first job to investigate MIchael Seebach. The big check should be handed over to Roger in this episode as well. 4) Schwarzwald's leaflets should create some sympathizers in Paradigm City, who Dastun later should later consult (instead of Roger) about finding a copy of a film that was supposedly destroyed 30 years ago. 5) The man with the newspaper who Roger consults for information should be a Schwarzwald sympathizer, who should misdirect Roger when Roger might interfere with Schwarzwald's plans. 6) After Big Duo is destroyed, Schwarzwald stays hidden in Paradigm among his network of sympathizers. 7) Near the end of a new Season 2 (or novel equivalent), Roger should have the opportunity to replace Gordon Rosewater with Schwarzwald as the person who takes Angel to the control room and influences her choices. If Schwarzwald is replaces Gordon Rosewater, there's no stage lighting in the sky and everything is Paradigm Corporation's fault as a giant 1984-style conspiracy.
I have only owned Ultra Moon because of that i didnt know any of the sun/moon only content and i didnt think that important character development like this was missing. Have only found out about this now 6 years later because of this video
Ironic that it’s called a lost episode considering I actually remember seeing this episode on TV though I didn’t realize how short it was at the time lol 😂
@@supersubatomicsonicgenerat4688 Yeah, for a "lost episode" of a TV series that usually ran for 22 minutes, you'd think they would want to produce one of normal length, though I suppose I can see the logic of doing a half-length one for the sake of an episode that was tied to a cereal box promo and featured an utterly inconsequential villain, haha
If I had to defend the unwillingness to believe in magic or paranormal of someone I'd say this: Magic, despite its hard to understand nature, seems to follow an order just like anything else. That said, each and every manifestation or usage of unknown artifacts with non specified capabilities isn't something to consider beyond our understanding, merely out of our reach for the time being. Magic can be defined, to the current extent of our related knowledge to the subject, as nothing more than a form of technology capable of harnessing and exploiting energy in various, controlled ways for a purpose.
Darklords are also my favorite archetype, I affectionate refer to them as Bricklords and I’ve been playing them since I bought a box of Destiny Soldiers to build my first good and proper deck that wasn’t a bunch of random cards that vaguely but not really work together. I pray for new support cards every time Konami releases a new set.
