This truck was made WELL when it first came out and the later years they had decreased the quality and convenience of the overall design as each year passed. My 2016 is NOT as nice as this one.
Why no handles on the back doors though? What if one day someone is working in the back and the door accidentally closes? Is he supposed to call his wife and kids late in the night to help him get out?
On cranes, the capacity is determined at minimum boom length, and maximum boom angle. Minus 15 percent for cranes on outriggers.. And Minus 20 degrees for cranes on tracks. Cranes mounted on boats and barges also have capacity deductions that I'm not familiar with....
Honestly the only international I’d consider driving other than the old school long hood internationals. Or the old ones when international was good. I’m fact company I’m going to now is giving me one to drive
Nice cabinetry! Too bad they have eliminated a lot of that cool stuff in the newer trucks. I have a 2016 and the cabinetry is basic and lame at best! The ONLY thing they left alone is the table /fridge cabinet. I also drove a 2017 Prostar for company and even that truck had better cabinetry/storage than my Lonestar. And I thought this was their Flagship truck??
I Absolutely hate that style of side rails! Unfortunately it seems to be popular lately for some reason. There are too many hard edges and I can’t tell you how many tarp straps “ bunnies” I’ve broken because of this style of side rails, and it’s really hard on the straps too... if you need to chain something down the chain eats into the hard edges of the rail/ stake pockets. Unfortunately the trailers that have chains in the floor never have enough chains to be useful so adding chains to compensate for not being able to use the side rails (spools, on the old style trailers ) is a joke. Why don’t they ask for opinions of the people who actually use these trailers every day if they want to make them better
Aluminum will never be as strong as steel...bottom line anytime you make anything light weight its weaker....all the talk about light weight bla bla bla I have yet seen a bridge made from aluminum....it's just a matter of time before that sliding tie down for the chain gets ripped out the groves
Bose used this tech created by the engineer who made chump change and a pizza ( like the fact that he had to mention buying him a pizza) to make seats which cost $5,000 to $8,000 Dollars. That engineer should post on you tube the parts and plans necessary to make this unit. I’m sure it’s only a few hundred in parts.
This system on my 2009 is HELL to repair and work on. This thing is DANGEROUS. It sits to close to the ground, it is UNDER the cab, AND it weighs hundreds of pounds. Getting to service it is a nightmare. As the whole thing has to come off and is ULTRA picky on alightment. The V-band clamps are hell to pay as well. I hate my Volvo truck. and I hate the price on these filters.
Dont ever bypass the scr box unless you want a blown engine the extra sut gets in the oil and makes the oil very abrasive to your pistons and rings bearing and crankshaft never run ot on water nothing good comes from this being removed
I will never put my life into the hands of a computer the only driver is a safe driver with common sense. That’s all u need your basically saying the driver don’t need to use his breakers stupidity right here
Everything he said is a lie 1 the adaptive cruise control is bs. I had this system and this system almost killed me 3 times when driving down the road in the middle of the night it would slam on breaks for no reason not to mention in snow this system dose you no go if someone cuts u off or short stops in snow or ice it will lock up your breaks and put you into a jack knife this system is very dangerous like I said I bout a truck with this stupid system and after it almost killing me 3 time I had it completely turned off and will never drive a truck that has this system on it
