Hi Dirk , Missed chatting with you at the Portland sport show this year. I know Cory but its been awhile since I've seen him after he moved from my local area. Why was I thinking you shot a PSE? There are several good brands on the market these days. As a long time arrow flinger I never had a Darton, but I don't buy new bows often I might check them out.
Jason and I shot PSE since 2019, but our contract ran out. That coupled with their new ownership and Cory leaving to work for Darton, it was time to move on. Once tuned their bows shot good, but tuning them took a while…….
I switched to Darton this year and I honestly don't see myself shooting another brand unless they stop building bows. Shot a PSE last year and was always a Bowtech person before then. I will probably still buy other brands to collect and tinker with but Darton is my go-to for everything.
I walk back tune get a straight line then throw on a big fixed blade like tooth of the arrow xl solids. They let ya know quick with the solid blades they’ll really plane off. If I’m lucky no adjustments but at most it’s a small adjustment to get them hitting so long as the bow itself is in tune
Hell ya! I'm getting a new bow in October and am seriously considering that Darton Sequel. I was really looking at the Athens Axxis but they are no longer in business.

Funny as hell that the Hulkster gets one! I like to see the highs and lows of elk hunting with a bow. You mess up more times than not. The animals have the advantage.
BF Goodrich All Terrain tires DO NOT WORK with 3/4 Ton on larger trucks! For 1/2 tons and Jeeps, they are great! If a heavy truck is what you want to drive,get some Toyo's or Nitto's, their casings are built to handle heavy trucks.
I’ve ran Toyo M/T’s, Nitto M/T’s, BFG AT KO2’s, and BFG MT KM3’s on this truck and had ZERO problems with any of them. None have lasted beyond 30k miles, with the exception of the KM3’s which are still running and is TBD on how long they last. The POS Goodyears were some I got of of FB Marketplace mounted on wheels. I wanted the wheels and thought the GY should be fine on the Idaho backroads to run out, but boy was I wrong. They are junk! The others worked just fine everywhere I’ve hunted elk (which is several states and rough road conditions).
