Join our bold quest to complete the best Role-Playing Games in unusual & difficult ways that the developers definitely didn't intend!
These 'restrictions' include no money, no party members, no summons, only using starting equipment/skills, and many more! It's a bit like a speedrun.
Every game is on the menu: from Final Fantasy to Persona, Soulsborne series to Dragon Quest - if it's even slightly an RPG, we'll give it a shot. Thanks for popping in, and I hope you have fun here!
First of all, you maybe don't know, but in the first chapter you can check the items you can collect up to 20 times, and after that, you will get a cursed ring, which buffs your stats for good in early game, even if you can't use the DMW Second of all, why not investing time to bring Proficiency up to 100% by doing Mission 1-1-1? It's more useful instead of grinding for Levels, at 100% you reduce damage up to 80% and could avoid all that grinding. Third of all, you could avoid again all that grinding if you went to collect those accessories you get by the final boss much earlier in the game. So maybe you needed an escusse to make the video more interesting and longer or you do not know this game so well :)
Monk as the first job would be the perfect choice for this challenge, since at the worst case scenario, you could just grind to get the brawler license and punch everything to death. Great video my dude, looking foward for your next challenges
Magic in FF XV doesnt entirely deserve the hate it gets. You need to think of magic less as a regular weapon like a sword or pistols and more of a weapon you use rarely but that does insane damage. Also Healcasts can regen max HP like an Elixir so theres that Once you invest a couple AP into the magic tree it becomes far more bearable too though I still think they should have added a node to remove friendly fire. Oh well, guess Im stuck with the accessorie.
Hey - back watching your old stuff - didn't see a comment about it, but 33:04 - it's pronounced "lay-ev-uh-teen" - the significance of the name is because you're fighting the loki phase of Akechi and in Norse mythology "Lævateinn" is the name of a weapon that was crafted by Loki himself. Doubt you care, but like I said, didn't see anything in the comments, so figured i'd try to help. EDIT: if you hold the ALT key on your keyboard and press 0 2 3 0 then let go of ALT, you'll do the character for the "ae" or "ash" character like so: æ
I know it's over a year but there's a misconception in this video. The game ending megidolaon in the final final boss actually can happen in phase 1. I was showing my brother that there was a turn limit on the final boss and I got it to happen on phase 1 by using rush on a tentacle that nulls physical. It took over 20 minutes...
Heh you found the "chatgpt can't do letter limits" bug too. You'd think "AI" could do "for string X character limit" but they censored it so much it became 50 IQ
I still think the original version is better. But the remake probably introduced a lot of new players to the souls series, and i think that is a good thing.
Correction on the DMW: You do level up reaching a specific EXP threshold. Technically. There are numeric exp requirements for the DMW to roll the 777. The more you go over a specific threshold, the higher the chances to roll the Level up. Let's say that you have 87 exp and need 90 to level up from 5 to 6. Once you reach 90 exp, the game starts to fish for the 777 roll. I don't remember the exact numbers, but let's say the base chance is 10%. If you reach 100 exp and didn't hit the roll, the chance increases to 12%, 110 goes to 14% and so on. Of course, you could reach 200 EXP (required for level 7) and still haven't hit the 777. This could easily get into a double 777 roll because you hit the previous roll for level 6 and the base 10% for level 7 in a roll. I think gamefaqs has a more indepth faq about the DMW chances and mechanics.
The Ciri sections never count during challenge runs. That’s just obvious. Please come back and keep going because it was really really interesting. I bet the bombs would get really powerful eventually. But don’t count the Ciri sections how would that work for the majority of the ideas? She has no signs, no potions, no crossbow. No nothing.
Man I really wish I had this weapon. I love the look of it and want to play with the weapon. I didn’t have a ps5 till like a year or two of its life cycle so I couldn’t pre order
