I used to work for a community health clinic that was heavily dependent on grant monies. Now grant money is always late, often as much as four months or more. In the meantime there were expenses that couldn't be delayed; payroll for example. So the local bank was willing to advance us the money-- not out of the kindness of their hearts, but because when the money came in, that's where it would be deposited. Creditors who could be put off were put off, and I can tell you they didn' t like it. Everybody got paid eventually. If every last tongue depressor wasn't paid for, we couldn't have stayed open to see patients! I can empathize with Sir Timothy; this is life.
If I could choose any member of the royal family to hang out with for a week (with perhaps the exception of Diana), it'd be this guy hands down . He actually put his life on the line for his country, he isn't a toffee-nosed gimp like some of the people in that family (they know who they are), he knows how the game works but still refuses live in a bubble largely due to the fact he'd seen the world already long before he showed up on the royal radar...but above all else he seems like a thoroughly decent bloke who doesn't pass up the opportunity to engage with regular people an use his privileged position to do good...

Actually, I think it's smart that you singled him out as he is quite a cool, charismatic character. who is normally more in the background! It would be good to do one of him with a James Bond theme if you could find enough shots of him in action!

After 40 years living away from England I have recently looked at interviews with Princess Anne, Xara & her brother - and realise they are all very natural, very able & mature in their outlook - they show fine leadership.
Dennis Staughton ran around on her for a good ten years before their divorce including fathering a kid out of wedlock in 1985 whom he refused to acknowledge until a paternity test proved she was his kid. married Sandy Phillips after the divorce and apparently treated her more or less the same as he walked out of that marriage about six years ago to shack up with Lauren Hough (who is the same age as his son, Peter)

@Ray Tim has been by Anne's side at royal events regularly from the day they married til the day COVID put them on pause, and once Anne is able to resume normal duties I am sure he will continue to join her. He doesn't come on every engagement because he has his own job to worry about during the week, but he is always there for the big stuff (Ascot, Trooping the Color, Rememberance festival, etc.) and accompanies her on smaller engagements and international trips when he can. If you actually pay attention to what Pss Anne is doing as reported in the circular and the local press rather than seeing where the S*n have cropped him out of the photo and claimed he was not present, perhaps you would know this
