This would have made more money and sells why cut out the real ending what actually went on behind the scenes for it not to happen? Why the fall out in the first place?
This feels like such a better ending. Amazed they released it without even releasing the mission in an update. I also loved how Eli says I will destroy my father, I will destroy you! like as if he might be saying my dad and you could argue he knew who he really is.

I'm not going to defend Konami but I think I understand why they rushed Kojima Productions to finish the game. If the cutscenes of this section are not even finished, probably the whole level of the island wasn't too so the development of it would delay the release of the game like another half a year or even a complete year. They needed to end somehow. In that case the best thing was to make it a DLC but they decided to fire Kojima.
Firstly, what can Psycho-mantis not do other than tell what you're doing when you plug the controller in another port? Secondly, I can't believe that Eli and Psycho-mantis just flew away like Mary Poppins.
Man, Microsoft really need to get the Metal Gear rights again They can make the complete TPP, remake the first 2 MSX games, afterall those games were made for that Microsoft console But with a lot of hope, every single Remake of the franchise chapters, will come to every single console, even the MSX ones

I still firmly believe Eli should of been replaced with raidens origin story. It would of been pretty sweet if it turned out his child solider experience was from all this and is why he was chosen for SSS project in mgs2
