Have the same tablesaw as you. How did you mount the saw to the bench?

Glad to see someone make mistakes it's nice knowing I'm not alone. Hey man I also have a good app to suggest that I've been using for my own modular workbench designing. It's called Moblo and although the free version limits you to one custom project and 12 separate parts I liked it enough that I spent the $6.99 for the full version but it's only a one time purchase which isn't bad. Let me know if you try it out or have one you use that you like. If course if you can draw that's always an option too and what I was doing this sort of streamlines things though I think.

Great video. So good to see someone like me: making mistakes, getting more wood, unscrewing, re-screwing. Phew. It happens to beginners like me all the time. Woodworking, even the simplest projects, is an on-going learning process. I am also planning a modular and mobile workbench system.

Great video! I particularly liked your willingness to show and describe your own mistakes; that's much more helpful to a viewer like me than showing everything just working right the first time!

Looks like they may roll under your original work bench, the tables with not saws

Another good video. You made some nice functional carts that will serve your personal shop needs really well. A good choice of a project to make a video on. I'm sure this will give people some good ideas on how this will work for them as well.👏👍

Just subscribed to your channel after watching your weight plate video. Looking forward to your projects and your progress along the way. Good Luck!

I can't believe I'm the first comment on this video. You scored a good deal on the plates and did a nice job cleaning and repainting them. It's always nice to hear someone say I did this but next time I would do that instead. I pick up useful tips from everybody and you made some good points that will save me from wasting time and effort. I also liked the fact that you have an easy-going demeanor and don't come off as a know-it-all. We aren't all tradesmen with huge shop set-ups and tons of expensive equipment. Great video!👏👍

When you harvest, dont forget "the unfortunate" and donate to them 50% so you're not just another raging hypocrit on RU-vid. Apply that you believe in. Keep yourself accountable.

Yo Big Willie, you should move your bike from above the gas heater, notta good place for it...

The heater was a consideration when I put up the bike rack. But it doesn't get cold enough in the garage to ever use the heater so I'm not worried about it.

You get to be that guy in the math problems... "If Will has 10 raspberry bushes, and each bush produces a quart of berries, how many slices of pie will he eat on Sunday?"

Not an expert in any of this (or really even remotely knowledgeable), but how do you account for the root systems of 16 trees as they grow? Did you have to find tree variety that doesn’t have an extensive root structure or is there a trick to keeping them growing the way you want? Looking at the lay out I just imagine tree roots starting to pop up the pavers on your walkway but I can’t really tell how far away they are from the flags
@massiminimakes
@massiminimakes 2 года назад
I don't think I have too much worry about that. The closest trees to the pavers are about 3 feet away. I am keeping the trees pretty small and they are on semi-dwarf rootstock so I don't anticipate them pushing roots too far. But more importantly, the brick pavers are mortared so there shouldn't be much water below them which means the roots won't have a reason to go under them. But you do bring up a good point that I hadn't put much thought into. Thanks for the comment!
