Welcome to my garden! Right now there isn't much to see as this was filmed at the end of January, but I want to show what it looks like before everything goes in so you can see the change from now to the height of spring and summer.

Not an expert in any of this (or really even remotely knowledgeable), but how do you account for the root systems of 16 trees as they grow? Did you have to find tree variety that doesn’t have an extensive root structure or is there a trick to keeping them growing the way you want? Looking at the lay out I just imagine tree roots starting to pop up the pavers on your walkway but I can’t really tell how far away they are from the flags

I don't think I have too much worry about that. The closest trees to the pavers are about 3 feet away. I am keeping the trees pretty small and they are on semi-dwarf rootstock so I don't anticipate them pushing roots too far. But more importantly, the brick pavers are mortared so there shouldn't be much water below them which means the roots won't have a reason to go under them. But you do bring up a good point that I hadn't put much thought into. Thanks for the comment!

When you harvest, dont forget "the unfortunate" and donate to them 50% so you're not just another raging hypocrit on RU-vid. Apply that you believe in. Keep yourself accountable.
