Model Step A:1581cc 86,4 x 67,4 Model Step B: 1596cc 80,4 x 78,4 The engine from this video should be with the Step B rods/crankshaft, it's possible, in Brazil exist this configuration in Fiat Linea, 1839cc 86,4 x 78,4
Toyota has no such engine design back when the original version of the Lampredi Fiat engine was put into production in the late 1960's. The Toyota twin cam engine used in in the 2000 used a cylinder head designed by Yamaha.
Maybe. The R/L from the first 1.6 16v fiat is 0.21 (same as the 1.6 8v SOHC) and this stroker 1.8 is almost 0.35. Too high for 10000 rpm, 7000~7500 rpm is more realistic.
You got it.I think is not going to compete but someone is trying to copy build one. That Fuel ssytem is needing some development Good luck with your fiat. lol
Nah, I think it works a bit like carbs, with fuel being sprayed directly into the intake. You can see fuel lines going to each of the throttle bodies, and the more they're opened, the higher the pressure and the more the engine sucks air/fuel, thus giving the impression of smoke.
It's the resonance effect of atomized fuel. You're seeing a sound wave keep the atomized fuel pulsing in such a way it looks much like smoke lingering. Much like when you watch a wheel go through different speeds on a highway it can look like they are going slower, or even stop spinning altogether. You can have reversion, but you're only talking max of a few percent which is more likely to happen at other RPMS and not where it's designed to make peak performance.
Superbe moteur.
It's a stroker engine, 1820cc. The crankshaft has 78mm and the pistons have 87mm diameter. For more info, look for Fiat Linea "1.9 16v" sold in Brazil and Argentina.
yeah, well can you just pull a 200 hp per liter non turbo out of your ass at this exact moment? and how effective would a formula 1 motor be in a daily driver?
