I then use a crock pot I pot on low and add a 2 tbs of chili powder 1 onion and a 1/4lb of chopped raw bacon. Let cook for 6 hours. Add salt to taste
I make those except I call them potato pancakes for breakfast and put fried eggs on them. You can add maple on to like a pancake if you want. They are so good.
I want to use the whole recipe so what I use a cup of flour instead of a half a cup like you did in the half recipe looks like my mama's potato cakes blessed evening keep up the goodies😊
@@Mariah-ms5eo saturated fats increase the levels of cholesterol and elevated cholesterol is a risk factor for the cardiovascular disease. It is proven beyond doubt. So lard is not healthier than the vegetable oils (hovewer oils that have a lot of omega 6 fats are best to avoid or limit - such as sunflower oil). Monounsaturated fats are the best for frying because they are more stable to heating. For frying the best oils are refined olive and canola oils, avocado oil is good, but expensive.
