I dont understand why though if you clean your bike the hole will stay clean. Also the top cap isn't 100% waterproof so if it is out in the rain which idk why you would leave it in the rain it will collect a little bit of water at the bottom there where you plugged it.

Hmm, I have to try this set, access to compressor or place to use much water is rare those days. Another thing , I got my rx dirty like that once and from this moment I feel cracking sounds when move my bike, its possible that sand grains get in tide spaces like in back suspension? It is annoying thing to hear. Everyday less but more than week already I can hear that. Did you have like that with your bike?
