My ZX broke down a bunch of times! Customer service has been awesome. Unfortunately we caould never fix the issue. New wiring harness. Whole new bike. Then replaced battery on new bike. They asked me if we could try sending me a controller, By this time I did not trust the bike anymore. They gave me my money back. To bad because I loved the bike.

Could be the torque sensor. They now leave that little rubber bung out at the bottom of the crank, presumably to clear internal condensation. The little connecting wire looks vulnerable too.

Please help me, is the DC converter needed to turn on the bike? they send me 2 new controllers and a battery but still it doesnt turn on, what should i check more? one night i put it in the garage and the other day it never turned on again...only part that hasnt been replaced is the dc converter, cables seem fine, and what about the motor? i tried your battery trick and everything else..

Connect a throttle to the RX to check if the motor works, your torque sensor could be dis-functional.

Try disconnecting the brake sensors.

Its crazy becasue thes bikes cost almost 4k and the parts snap off from simply riding the bike.

Hi. How good is the quality of the motor compared to a Bosch Performance Line? Have you ever had an engine defect?

Thanks! Hard for me to say, not that much experience with Bosch middrives. So far no motor defects with the ZX bike. Boch are nice but big difference between mid drive and rear hub setups. I prefer the feeling of rear hubs, I think it's more fun. Cheers

Sounds like you might need a new controller for sure. Unless that motor went out which sounds unlikely.
