I think the most interesting part of bondrewds character is the way he genuinely believes everything he says. Due to the nature of his existence his insanity was instead turned into complete drive towards helping people and understanding the abyss. He no longer understands that his actions are wrong as in his mind the ends justify the means completely. Easily one of the most interesting characters in anime especially given his relatively short amount of screen time appearing mostly in only 1 movie.
In my personal opinion, I thought it was okay. But, super weird for me. Sari turning out to be a robot never sat right with me and it pretty much turned me off from it. I preferred her to be just human and nothing more. Didn't like how small and weaker Optimus Prime was, but he was just starting out.
The first time I watched rebellion I was confused because it really does take the original anime and kind of change a lot of core concepts that you thought were a thing…. But I enjoy this analysis. It makes me wanna go back and rewatch rebellion maybe with some fresh eyes.
Eren's friends betrayed him and their country...? Eren forgot why he started the rumbling....? Eren and his friends lost character development....? Why did'nt we go with Zeke's plan? That would've been better

I fucking hate Floch. This was a character that was pissing his pants and the FIRST to give up against the beast titan, had no feats, and then, because the writer went full retard, made him as smart as Armin, as strong as Mikasa, and as determined as Erwin in one episode. He is able to figure out all of his adversaries plans instantly somehow, i.e. "oh Armin just got back and explained a completely plausible and urgent situation to me? That's okay Im literally 269IQ and have the mental fortitude of Buddha himself so not only can I figure out what is happening faster than Armin could, but I also am calm af so can act cool as shit while I murder this Asian lady" and then "oh what? the engineers are making their way in the general direction of the plane/ship? THAT MUST MEAN THEY ARE GOING TO TAKE THE PLANE SOMEWHERE ELSE TO REPAIR!!!!" . He then suddenly gets the courage to charge at and outmaneuver the Jaw Titan, an intelligent titan he has arguably never seen before since it was the kids first transformation, and probably one of the worst intelligent titans you can go up against as someone using ODM gear due to its speed and shock factor (IMMA BITE YOUR FACE OFF... and everything), he is able to effectively defeat Hanji, one of the strongest scouts there ever was, and then outmaneuver the cart titan... another one of the fastest Titans...Floch is a bad character because it's not believable how this piece of shit (you know his cowardice, sadism, racism, and overall propensity for murdering the unarmed) suddenly gained all these traits. His main goal is to find a "devil" and rely on their power to destroy everyone except the Paradis island so he hardly seems to be the type to train himself either, making it even less believable that he somehow managed to gain all these skills during the time skip. Oh and also he's literally the only reason Hanji died...just imagine seeing her and Levi together a few years later at the end...WITH LEVI HOLDING A GODDAMN BABY IN HIS ARMS. Fuck Floch and Fuck whoever thinks he's not a terrible character.
Something about my hero academia as a whole just resonates with my life and things I’ve been through when I was first given a peek at spinners backstory I just thought he felt isolated because he looks different but now as I’m currently watching episode 152 and he reveals how he was the victim of a hate crime. His sadness and his motivation to become a villain shows how they don’t see themselves as true villains in this story just heroes trying to fight for a better world
Ymir 100% has Stockholm syndrome, and her "love" for the king is a textbook example of this. That and i genuinely can't see another reason as to why she would love the king that actually makes some kind of sense
I think people cannot comprehend that Bonedry (bondrewd) as a "human" (he was/is a diver after all) and being able to love, means that he's not psicopath, and that he has empathy, which means that every torture and experiment he's doing to the children he honestly and genuinely loves, also hurts him, and people don't seem to realize that, he just pushes through, same as a woman can give birth, it hurts as hell but it has ("""has""" in the case of bondrewd, he doesn't have to doit but from his prespectivee he does have to doit) to be done Also, i have a question, why are you hot?
I'm sorry. I tried watching your video & only got about 3 minutes through. I just can't... Your dubbed sh** was driving me bat sh** insane. I hate anime in English. Especially when someone as elegantly & philosophically poetic as Bondrewd ends up suddenly sounding like a loud mouth with over-exaggerated tones lol The 2 just don't compare. Japanese Bondrewd is the only true Bondrewd.
Do you also believe that Joseph Stalin did nothing wrong, Benito Mussolini did nothing wrong, Kim Jong-un did nothing wrong, Saddam Hussein did nothing wrong & Muammar Gaddafi did nothing wrong? Is it because they're real life people? Your moral & logic is disgusting.
me and my brother were watching MIA together and me not knowing anything about the show, was just about as surprised as my mom was when she walked in to us watching the reg experimentation scene! she said, "you guys are disgusting" and walked away.
The ending was definitely retconned!!! Eren was willing make sacrifices in order to ensure the survival and future of eldia including his father and mother but he couldn't sacrifice his friends??? Does that make sense??? That's not Eren at all!! Isayama was definitely ordered to change the ending bcos there's no way he would intentionally ruin Erens character!!!
Absolutely disagree on the analysis of the ending. Eren's friends did have peace since the war that came after is far into the future. If the Rumbling succeeded and Paradis' people would have been the only people left, eventually there will be a war anyway between the Eldians. The whole point is that was is inevitable, but it's worth fighting for peace, not genociding the other.
The problem with Floch, is that through his 'becoming of the devil', he became a fascistic menace in his own island. He was the one creating the fear. What's the point of living without fear?
The real Devil in Magica Madoka is Kyubie and the Incubators. Their the ones who set the entire thing into motion just so they wouldn't have to Die with the Universe. They Willingly caused pain and devastation to parasitically extend their own power. They Lie and manipulate everyone into getting what they desired, with no repercussion placed upon themselves. Then at the end Kyubie mentions that it was all for not because the Universe will still end with God Madoka becoming a Cosmic witch. For all there talk of Logic, Homura is the Logical Conclusion to the mess they set up to extent the Universe. They Even admit as much in the End of rebellion when Homura is reshaping the Cosmos. They shouldn't have tried to calculate for chaos. It was all a Mistake. In the end Homura knew this and thus she set up the Incubators to play an active role in their scheme. They now suffer the Burden of the Witches Grief, so even in the end Madoka will remain a Magical Girl. Homura got her wish.
As you said, there was no meaning to the story if it ended like that. They achieved nothing, all the sacrifices were meaningless and we as the readers got slapped on the face. I mean I did enjoy watching the show and it's still in my top 10 despite having seen 300+ anime but if not for the ending it would be on the first place. What I am satisfied with is the fact that I finally found someone like you who shares my thoughts and opinion. When aot's final episode was released I watched a bunch of videos, reactions and read a lot of comments to search for people who had similar point of view as me but it was all for nothing. I hope you are doing well and I wish you everything good, also thanks for the video. It made me smile which is really nice considering the fact that my life is going downhill for quite a long time.
I hate this ending, it should have ended with a full destruction of the world along with deaths of a few more main characters. That way the cycle would end.
Although Floch had some saddistic moments, I believe he did that only because it was needed to keep people in place and ensure stability. I remember having a huge "ból dupy" (which translates as pain in the ass), when I saw him supposedly dying both times (I didn't know he survived the first time). From the start I understood the need to proceed with the rumbling and I supported both Eren and Floch. On the other side I immediatelly stopped liking the "main" squad after seeing them killing their own people and even more when they contributed to killing Eren. The ending scene showing the destruction of Eldia was even more heartbreaking to me, it was not the ending I was hoping for. I was and I will stay as a Yeagerist.
...Levi also chose Armin because Armin had a vision further ahead than Erwin, as he knew like a sole goal and all Erwin knew was to get to the basement and he didn't know what next. Armin wanted to get to the sea, which is wayyy further. And also because like Eren said Armin's head wasn't full of hate unlike most of the soldiers.
