Welcome to The Tokyo Show with your host Nicholas Pettas! The Tokyo Show is where you sit back, relax on your sofa with a glass of wine, whiskey (or cup of tea?) in the evening and find entertaining stories from the unique and crazy country that is Japan! Ive spent 30 years in Japan as a karate kid, kickboxing champ, fitness coach, author, and actor.
Japan has been one of the most popular countries to visit due to its unique blend of traditional customs and futuristic technology. Tokyo is Japan’s busy capital, it mixes the ultramodern and the traditional, from neon-lit skyscrapers to historic temples. During Covid-19 I was inspired to share more about this adopted home of mine with the world, so tag along as we seek out and create more stories exploring martial arts, fitness, food, & life-stories.
Hi! Super random but I was wondering if you've had any luck taking this kind of grill to a park in Tokyo? I recently moved here and my apartment doesn't allow for smoking meats on the balcony sadly
Wow, that is premium. I did not find that place in Kesennuma. I ate at the fish market near the shark museum. I think I mentioned that I didn't have a car, but I wouldn't blame you for not remembering that. That looks really good. I'd have been curious to see the blade of the yanagi - it's actually interesting. It's rarely discussed in videos, but the sushi chef's knives are usually very personal to the chef.
@@TheTokyoShow Im very sure his loss to you contributed heavily to his further success as well. Reminds me of when Canelo Alverez lost to Floyd Mayweather. He became a lot better and almost unbeatable with the lessons learned from the loss.
Great video, Shihan Glaube Feitosa is my favorite fighter, that's one of my favorite fights, a great war. It's wholesome to watch you talking about this fight Shihan Pettas.
@@JunkFoodJapan Yes this was an excellent fight against an excellent opponent. I actually saw him live like 2 years ago, he KO'ed James McSweeney with leg kicks. Congratulations on a great career man, K1 was the real deal
Happy belated Birthday Nic! My wife and I hope you had a great day and we enjoyed all the videos from your family and friends. Hilarious and sweet! We love watching your videos both on this channel as well as Junk Food Japan and it's great to watch your continued growth and success. Cheers and all the best!
