I’m gonna buy one and go on Depeche Mode’s A Broken Frame tour. My Secret Garden’s not so secret anymore. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MQgdCSIazxU.htmlsi=jazdNXBHMA-8l56F
Thank you for the video! : ) I really want to start with the Behringer synths. Which two synths would you recommend to get at the beginning? I plant to use them without an external keyboard.
I want to hate it, lol, but like the 4+1 multi part with the mixable sequencer...it's a pity about the price. I had the D50 when it came ut, price: 1200 USD, I wish it would be in the same price range.
I would like to hear a toned down just synth demo of this unit if it's possible, not so syfi or glitchy. I want to see if it can mimick the library sounds of some famous synths out there. to the point were it can stop the synth search.😂. I believe this will have no problem pulling off .😎👍
Tried both (still have on my mac book) Arturia OBXa and Sonic Projects op-x and was rather underwhelmed as the liveliness of an analog VCO on UB-xa can give me more satisfaction. Of course everybody has different level of perception and set of ears so this argument can't never be won! To me 5 voice on a poly synth in 2024 is a slap in a face not saying it sounds bad...it's just that I can do more with UB especially with layering complex sounds
@@Sonikbytes yeah, at least on synths we have freedom :) im genuinely happy people can choose what they like even if it starts with b or m or else. and can talk about it w/o hate. I’m was not even happy with Polybrute regardless it’s analogue guts, multiinstantisted VST plug I loved….. traded it in for cheap (after) a year to fund analogue mono synth with a soul. for me and my weird taste. I’m also not striving for many voices for what I play. all my 4 analogue synths are mono/duo-phoninc. TEO-5 poly lfo is right on the money and what poly needs.
@@bjornkreuze7423 To my shame it was sacrificed to fund Model D (last chance to get one made by Moog-Moog) LOL so not PB replacement per -say, but replacement for my needs. I was/am looking for intricacies in voices. For leads and arpeggios and such. Not for layered pads poly (which to my needs can be done on many other synth incl VST). Getting intricate beaut lead is, I think, the real deal when analogue hw synth is fun. PB was not doing that bad at all on that. Listen my SoundCloud (not self promo) Nebular. Lead is PB (good automation from DAW too). Track Aster is Arturia OB-Xa lead. And Magic Flight lead is Model D in special blend with Pigments. Looking to leads on those 3 songs, this what I’m looking for from “OB-Xa” of any kind . So far TEO has something to say on that department :) Cheers!
Yeah OB rocks better. I don’t trust Behringer anymore since my VC340 broke and it just collecting dust particles. I’m going to put money on Behringer no more than $350.00 that’s it.
Haven't changed anything but I can confirm that it is super hard to read when you're sitting in front and there's some light coming from above (I am not talking about a main stage at 2PM in mid summer, just some light through the window in the morning)

At 3:15 into the video he plays the arpeggiated beat. Did he start making the beat, then put it on repeat using the Roland mixer? Did he then use the Roland mixer on a different channel to play over the top of that layer?
Nice demo. That things is an alien. I had the Clone Edge and this sounds better. More grit, deeper bass and powerful attack. Is it worth paying 3x more? Each to their own.
