1st off you need to have the unit Vented so that the outside air can be cooled and allowed to flow into the room. I have that same unit here in Mesa Az and today its 106 outside and my central air has my house at 93 degrees. I set the unit up outside my window on a stand and fully opened the window so that air from the unit will blow fully into my house. In a matter of about 25 mins my thermostat had the temp in the house reading 85 degrees. The unit will just make it humid inside the area if it is not vented to breath in different air from another source other then the same room its in, hence why you see most Swamp coolers outside either mounted on a roof or hanging outside from a window. Try putting it outside that window with the whole unit outside and open the window to allow the air flow into the roof and you will see a Hugh difference (unless its very Humid outside) then you need an Air conditioner to Condition the Air, hence its name. You will Thank me for corrected your mistake.
This setup looks awful, swamp coolers get bad names from sheer idiocracy. This video is a classic example of why people don’t like swamp coolers from people who have no idea how to set them up and proper airflow. You need to Google a evaporative cooler temperature chart and allow for proper airflow. Typically the swamp cooler will be drawing in fresh air and it needs to dump out outside somewhere else like through an open window and the opposite side.
For 2nd floor you need more plywood to spread the shock... Rubber dampens but plywood spreads the shock for less isolated concentration of impact... Also better to have a retaining frame so the shock doesn't migrate the platform components which are actually better left NOT screwed together so they dispel most of the impact energy bouncing off each other
You really don't need that electronic device, use your watch or wall clock. do however many reps, rest 30 seconds between for 30 mins or an hour, how ever many workouts a day. I give it a ten rating. 5:44
Stop blaming the app. It could well be a bad SD card. Did you try another one and is the card able to record 4k video. If you purchased it on Amazon you may have been sold a cheap and nasty knock off. Buy a decent card from a reputable seller. Be careful because those low quality cards are everywhere. The majority of problems such as you described are usually due to bad SD Cards.
This is 2 months late, but I have the squat rack for a year now, and this thing will not budge!!! It does everything I want, and the quality is AMAZING!!! I was able to pull up with 90 pounds on, and I didn’t feel this thing move so you’re all good!
Trust me- those artificial sweeteners are detrimental in the long run, so to fix this problem I use flavorless Naked whey along with natural rich flavored cacao powder with all natural monk fruit extract vanilla sweetener. Now mind you- at $13 a bottle, the natural monk fruit is expensive. But for me, it’s worth every penny because my energy levels are way up and my body is filled with nutrients. I usually add kale, cottage cheese, coconut, pineapple - like a tropical all natural protein smoothie. Mmmmm, so so delicious
3:17 i think your calculations are resulting in 1 too few boards. Your first board is awt to be full legth which means it's not helping level the platform. It's simply raising the whole platform 1/4" evenly across the full length. That leaves 5 boards which adds 1.25" to the low side relative to the high side, not 1.5". Your platform will be much more level, but still off by 1/4".
I bought mine during the height of covid 2020 i love it. Ive now added the lat pull down great company they make cheap great quality products. And its rated at 800 pounds now im no expert but i doubt if most people are maxing that out. Definitely not in bench and doubtable in squat. Just saying
Do you think my floor (vitrified tiles) would be fine while deadlifting with 3 stacked foam tiles per side under the plates? Perhaps a 1" rubber mat underneath as well. I cannot make a full on platform at the moment.
Not really. Especially in modern light weight wood frame houses. The floor joists are glued wooden I beams and most connections are either glued or connected with surface connectors. Houses aren’t designed to have concentrated loads like a weight rack and certainly not designed to experience impact load of dropping a heavy barbell from overhead which is really the only purpose for putting a lifting platform in a gym. I wouldn’t even put a stacked washer and drier on a second floor without reinforcing the structure below it in modern homes.
maybe a dumb question but If I have to make a 16x8 platform, I would enter in 192 inches and 6 additional boards for the formula to work correctly, rather than make two platforms with the 8x8 formula?
