Vinegar plus power washer surface cleaning attachement. Very effective. Took me 30 minutes for the cleaning for 3 mats 4x6. The 2nd day the smell was almost gone.
We just bought some horse stall mats and I left them outside and then pressure washed them. They look discolored. Does the vinegar work? Is it straight vinegar or do you water it down a little? Do you scrub them?
@@seanmason3116 I don't have the same issue. Mine are still looking like the same as I bought. It is quite hot in Texas, but none of them are making a smell.
Not really. Especially in modern light weight wood frame houses. The floor joists are glued wooden I beams and most connections are either glued or connected with surface connectors. Houses aren’t designed to have concentrated loads like a weight rack and certainly not designed to experience impact load of dropping a heavy barbell from overhead which is really the only purpose for putting a lifting platform in a gym. I wouldn’t even put a stacked washer and drier on a second floor without reinforcing the structure below it in modern homes.
