He's right about alot when comes to fedex ground alot alot weight involved continuous packages I work at fedex ground peak right now im full-time I work 2 shifts which are 5 hours apiece it's not bad you need dress in layers while it's cold get very hot really fast in the trucks not cold it's alot physical work running around promise you will stay busy you will hert no matter your age it's not bad place managers do care alot more than people claim but it's not easy not for everyone
Nathan thank you for your time and making this video Im about to start this week. When you said 2K to 3k boxes I was like dang this is going to be mental🤯
Faking it is definitely better than doing nothing and falling behind in life, but yeah if the facade becomes your persona and you turn into an entirely disingenuous person, then that's also pretty bad. People should find a middle ground between the person they want to be and the one they are now, then improve that version relentlessly.
That first step is so important, yet most people don't take it because of how uncomfortable it is - you have to realise that you've failed in some capacity and can do better. That's often very hard to admit.
let's go bro! Love to see small creators go hard and conistent! I'd love a more deeper explanation on how to chage your mindset. Not the typical "guys read this book it helped me a lot" talk but more like a step by step for the ones who find it to be a little harder than just read something and get that click.
Good video but counter point: there are some dreams that are just never meant to be realised. All you have to do is watch some of those reality tv singing shows to see hoards of delusional people who think they're talented when they should give it up and focus on things they're actually good at.
Solid point. I may discuss pursuing goals/dreams you’re good at. Nevertheless, getting out of your comfort zone and pursuing something unconventional is valuable and necessary. Take my channel for example.
Hey man, saw your comment on a recent Hamza video and thought I'd check out some of your stuff. Totally agree with your points. If you need external validation to get started you'll never make sustainable progress. I'm building a personal development channel as well, so I gave you a new sub to help on your grind. Keep it up and all the best!
Finally a video that is clear concise and not trying 2 act like neighborhood crack dealer with mouth full of crack rocks..im so tired of the HOOD act...its pathetic and brings down my people
Wanted to ask more on the bell for your start and finish time for a shift. What if you arent done loading all of your boxes? When the bell dings to end shift , can you still go home even if you havent finished all? Id imagine it would be illegal to keep someone behind
The packages drastically reduce in volume by the end of your shift.. and if they aren’t done, the next shift workers take care of it by immediately switching in with you.
“Eat your Roti” are you by any chance from Trinidad? My parents are from Trinidad and they always say Roti. I tell my friends have they tried Roti and they always seem confused and say “ tortilla’s man?” Tis not the same thing lol
Im 40 years old and haven't worked in 2+ years. I start at fedex tonight unloading trucks. I decided to try it out because my investment savings is running low and prices are going up plus I could use the exercise. Already got the back brace, steel toe shows, and gloves and Im anxious to get started. I like the idea of putting in my time doing whatever they want and leaving with $$ earned to support my life in general. I appreciate you making this video and sharing your perspective on the job
Hello trio thank fixer I did that for 6 years now I’m doing something called the slide table, please please take care of your back and slew a lot and rest when you’re home I want to cry for you because I know what you’re getting into
I also worked midnights for FEDEX Ground. I resigned after 4 days of working. In my opinion, it isn’t worth the money. You basically are getting paid to do intense lifting exercise for hours at a time. No phones in the building, no music (understandable because you don’t want to get hurt if distracted) On my third day of orientation, there was a guy who was supposed to be a trainer teaching me. He didn’t know how to load the trucks. My location was very unorganized. If you are willing to break your back, knees and bones for $16 an hour then go ahead. Otherwise wouldn’t recommend this job.
Fortunately I start at 330am for training in about 2hrs for 23 currently until Christmas seasons over then its 21 I'm in preload for local trucks I can imagine it's gonna be shit work since it's physical but I plan on getting my CDL in the meantime
Hello! I’m doing my work tour tomorrow for fed ex express as a material handler. Do you think your advise for a package handler would benefit a material handler also?
Happy New Years Kosonglce! I’m no longer working at Shake Shack, I was fortunate enough to secure a position in my field of interest. Thanks for asking!
I had my interview yesterday. How many days or weeks they are going to call or text if you have a schedule for the orientation. Or are they going to hire on the spot? Thanks for the response!
Personally, they reached back out to me in a week to start. It all depends on who contacted you tho. I would make sure I have multiple applications for other jobs lined up, so that if they don’t call you back it won’t be too detrimental.
