I'm a young Informatics Engineer from Portugal who like mechanics (particularly TOYOTA). I like to work on my Corolla--this type of easy-to-work-on cars are a dying breed... If you can assemble IKEA furniture, you can work on one of these Toyotas :)
Still confuse. Search over 2 hours. Cant find a straight answer. How do i know what tire go on what rim (wheel you call it) The width. If the tire is 245 width. This is not the width where tire fit in rim. Soooooo confuse 😅
Best car ever made, but this filter is hard to work on, I wonder if the round airbox (which I still don't know what that is ,even with all my experience) and the ther is more space...
Just a correction observation.....Joao said you can only swap asymmetrical front to rear on the same side and visa versa. Asymmetrical tyres CAN be rotated cross corner, (example offside front to nearside rear). The outside of the tyre is STILL on the outside of the vehicle, only it will be rotating the other way which in fact is beneficial because it will even up the "feather effect" which occours over time as the tyre wears.
Did you noticed the car to have more power after change? My corolla is kind of weak, low power, I suspect issues with fuel injectors, but fuel filter probably never been replaced, so I'm not sure it's fuel filter problem or something else

It's a bit more than this...the tensioner bolt and the locking bolt screws into a slider block (part number 16385-15030). You also haven't mentioned the torque settings required for the locking bolt. I have been struggling for weeks trying to get it tight enough (after snapping 2 bolts). 40nm is too much, but 27nm isn't enough. it loosens and starts making noise!
Thanks for the handy tips👍 So men always moisturise or lubricate your nuts first 😂 to avoid damaging your shaft. Make sure everything is the right size and a tight fit place your hand on your tool with a firm grip lmao🤜💪
In manual gear boxes you should use GL 3 which has less sulfer EP additive which attacks the syncronizer brass parts. GL 4 has a lot more EP additive and GL 5 has twice as much as GL 4 so while perfect for Hypoid Ring and Pinion Gears in the rear axle is terrible for manual transmissions. This would include Front Wheel Drive boxes because the drive axle and transmission share the same oil supply. On Front Wheel Drive GL 4 would be the best choice unless the Original Equipment Manufacturer says otherwise.
Can you tell me more about it? My 1994 Toyota Corolla has AC problems that from last summer no one had a clue about. A mechanic today said that it would be very expensive to clean the filter because it cannot be taken out easily. Other sources say it doesn't exist. My head is fairly spinning.
I have 2002 Corolla, and the glove box is the same as this one. I have watched the video several times but cannot remove the box as easily as you do. Any additional tips you can provide on the glove box removal? It looks like you are just pressing it in on the sides, but no matter what I do, I cannot remove mine. (Time mark 1:12 in the video).
