Whats the part that you slide to close off the cylinders at 1:00? I discovered my gramps thirty is missing that and cannot find any information anywhere about what it is.

My late father’s 22 had the 14 inch orchard tracks, so it looked a bit less like a toy. And it had electric start.

Had to watch it again, this man knows how to protect the crank. Of all the 22s I’ve watched, he’s the only one with smarts.

Had a lot to do with these little beauties years ago, 40s & 50s, never saw one with brush guards before. Never see the big yellow grease gun in any of these Cat things? This one really is sweet.

My guess ,by having 2 fuel tanks it would start on gas , then switch over to Kerosene, my John Deer Lender-men with tracks & a2 cylinders ,your tractor is all most as worth as your house , mine was sold for 10,000. And it was sold to person in Canada for25,000 . I was living in Oregon then.

Steve Plata did you not notice that the crank handle released from the crank once it broke over. He had to reseat it each time he went to turn it over. It is a built in safety feature for the operator and the tractor.

typically they are worth less than there scrap value. but if she can sell it at or slightly less even than its scrap price to someone that wont fucking scrap it, you are doing your country a huge favor. there is a reason scrap prices are climbing while the value of the dollar is falling. they are buying our economy out from under us. i see it all the time at the equipment auctions. its gonna cost you at least a buck a mile to move this thing. just so u know.
