From a painters stand point. That used to paint gulfstreams. Did a pretty decent job. What I would suggest is use a acid etch primer. From Sherwin Williams, ppg or exalta. Before the epoxy. Runs about $50 a gallon right now. Aluminum is such a hit or miss with paint sticking. Some you couldn’t beat off with a hammer just sanding. And others will flake off in big sheets. As for dust good luck. It comes from everything around or above the part and gun. Remember when you release compressed air in a direction. It creates a vacuum. Behind it.
@@MajikPPMan I’ve done the alodine on leading edge parts. It works really well. Other than those just acid etch primer. And move along. That’s what they make it for.
