On this video I used my iPhone for video only. The audio is from the one mic you see in the video. I synced the video to the audio and that's what you are seeing and hearing.
@@onemic-theminimalistOK thank you. I was going say IPhone doesn't sound this good because I tested it myself. I'd been trying to find a phone that sounds good and take good videos. I will hopefully test the new Sony phone soon. I just found this studio this week. I talked to someone name Gabriel on the phone and he mentioned a studio crawl next month. I called to see what recording studios use in the east bay for monitors since I want to design, engineer, and develop our own Hifi monitors.
I have been a huge fan since the first time I heard him , Joe just keeps getting better and this is definitely one of his best nights. Wow Joe is the MAN if someone can do better I would love to feel it just incredible!
I am a brand new fan of Joe Satriani! Where have you been all my life. LOVE THIS MUSIC!!! Its like just when you think you are there, Joe says, "Oh no babe, we are only half way there".. Shivers!
Joe you're one of the best in your style. Fantastic. When are you coming to Glasgow Scotland again? Best "Crowd Chant" you'll probably hear, in my opinion. Come and see. Though I heard a "rumour" that it was yourself that taught Stevie Vai? Personality in my opinion I can see the likes between you both. Yet I saw Vai playing with Dave Lee Roth at Donnington 88. Judging by ages and the likes. Well Vai's skill was/is immense, bit strange ay times though. So I'm not too sure if the rumour is true. You'd have thought that Vai would have taken alot of Joe's traits along in his style. So can anyone enlighten me? For me Joe Satriani is just unreal. I've messed about with electric guitars since I was 18 roughly. I'm 58 now. Though can't get much further than "Smoke on the water" lol! So I guess some folk are just born to be amazing guitarist's. Maybe if I'd picked up drumming i could've been the next buddy rich. (Aye right you are lol!!) We need you back In Glasgow Joe...ASAP!!! I must say one thing here. Might contradict all I've just said. The artist who I'd most liked to have saw live would be the "Late Great Stevie Ray Vaughan" Just to have been part of the audience at "The elmocambo Club" would live with you forever. So even though I like Satriani and Vai. My music taste gives the accolade to "SRV" He's out there and would have been a total world star if it hadn't been for incompetence in allowing an unskilled helicopter pilot to take his helicopter up and into the hillside. I'm sure Claptons bassist was killed aswell. The coloured bassist that was always playing live with him. Such a waste...RIP Stevie. Your music lives long, and will continue to inspire people all over. I'm in Scotland. It'll be a cold day in heaven right enough, if Stevie's not there. He will be. Cheers. Sorry my post was long. Nothing new there. Just don't moan. If you read to here, then why moan?...Paul.
its like this. imagine a chef who uses 1000 ingredients from the far corners of the earth - and the food tastes like shit. and then you have this bald guy - who has used 25 ingredients for 40 years - but the food tastes like pure gold. that's how I explain Joe satriani vs the modern shredder or fusion player.
Well done, Joe & his band has never failed his fans. Ever since buying the vinyl of Surfing I have always appreciated his guitaring skills. Thank You for posting.
