Joe Satriani Live in Paris part 2: I Just Wanna Rock 2009. The original DVD and RU-vid versions have flawed audio that happened during the DVD manufacturing process. This version (V2) is what it should sound like. John Cuniberti
I love the themes of his music. He’s the ONLY virtuoso that doesn’t overdo anything. Every note seems intentional and the melody is strong enough to be sang over the rhythm. Everything is fuckin epic hero music.
EU TIVE A HONRA DE IR NO SHOW DO SATRIANI EM 2008. TIVE QUE PEGAR CERCA DE 450 KM DE ESTRADA POIS EU SOU DO INTERIOR DE SP E O SHOW FOI NA CAPITAL!!! FOI INESQUECÍVEL PARA MIM !!! CONGRATULATIONS FROM BRASIL !!
What an incredible genius. I've listened to him since Surfing but have never heard him play "Always with me, Always with you" like that! Truly incredible!
"Always with me, Always with you" is, without question, totally brilliant. This live version is great, but the 2006 concert does exceed it somewhat: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BsJisD7n8_Q.html Sure, my opinion - compare for yourself ☺
One of my all time faves. And seeing Joe, Stuart Hamm, & drummer Jeff Campitelli as a 3-piece live in the early 90's was a personal list top 10 all time best concerts ever! Smokin'!!!!
Man I really would have liked to seen that! Only thing I can think of comparable or two concerts back in the day near San diego, one in 97 Steve Morris at some casino theater the Steve Morris band f****** incredible! And then in 2003, Humphreys by the Bay outdoor theater right near the water man in San diego! Eric johnson! And Derek trucks band was opening for them it was absolutely insane.. I was blown away by this albino slide player and then Eric made us wait even longer obsessing over his batteries and pedals and s***.. finally he came out and everyone was like damn dude you can make us wait as long as you want coming out like that..
I managed to catch Satriani when he had hair with Stu when they were a lot younger and it was an amazing experience. I wasnt even a fan - a friend dragged me there and it changed the way I saw music

Well done, Joe & his band has never failed his fans. Ever since buying the vinyl of Surfing I have always appreciated his guitaring skills. Thank You for posting.

Many of those who can not understand The Need speak bad about Chuck Schuldiner and his frequent Demand for Matching Souls. Here, Papa Legba Joe_ explained it ALL.
There's a guy who goes by the name of Steve Vai or some such name. He may not be very popular, but he claims to be this guys student, and knows how to pose well with guitar. I think he can pose like Satch for sure.
I saw him twice in Paris: the sound was horribly loud and I had ear protections I can't give the advice to see him in concert it's better here or with a dvd
🐵Hear here ear; If i'ts too loud",🙉 your too old 🙊 ...not that there's anything wrong with that. Earplugs could help your decibel dilemma mon-frere. To me it makes good good sense.. Good sense.😎🌊🏄♂️👽💣thx 4🌡upload🙏
I had the same experienced, I walked out after 45 minutes in The Netherlands (small venue, Paradiso) but also a great experience with Joe where he sounded great in a much bigger venue).
